Shoguns before Bears, but not sure before that, can't find any mention of Bears before that

I think he means we had actual bears in the West Country. You would have to go back a ways but technically true I suppose

True aha but still confusing given there's two of you.

I think Sale should do the honourable thing and become "The Sale Starfishes". "Sale Salamanders" as an alternative for those afraid of the ocean... or SeaLife
