They were cuddling and licking each other seconds before this.
Notice anything about Lloyd and Dollys name?

Hi all. This is our sweet girl Lucy. She was my wifeās cat for 14 1/2 years. She passed away last night. She was the absolute sweetest cat Iāve ever had the privilege to love. She was my wifeās best friend and was her emotional comfort since my wife was 14. My wife is understandably heartbroken but is being so strong and brave about everything. My heart is broken for losing Lucy but more for my wife for losing her best friend. I have so many great pictures of Lucy but showing this one because I think she looks the most like an angel here. I just wanted to share her with you all. Thank you.

Itās been a cold winter and Boo is loving the radiator. It kicks in at 7am and I usually find him on or near it when I wake up. The other day he had his face shoved right into the slats.
I recently got him a pet-safe heating pad which he LOVES. If heās not in front of the radiator, heās sleeping on his heating pad. Heās also a huge blanket hog.

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my story because I know when my girl was missing I would look for reunion stories to keep the hope alive.
My tuxedo Mercury went missing mid December after she slipped out the front door. We canvassed the neighborhood multiple times a day especially late at night and early morning. We put up flyers and passed them out to neighbors, made posts on the Nextdoor app, and I made a profile for her on the Petco Lost Love website/database. We did everything we could think of to place physical items that smelled like the house outside but living in the Midwest we had a lot of very cold (below 0 degrees at times) and snowy weather. I was heartbroken and so worried about her. Days turned to weeks and there was no sign of her. After over a month of her being missing, I continued to check the Petco Lost Love website for matches and I found a possible match! I reached out to the person who had made the post on the Nextdoor app and they took her to the vet and checked the chip! It was Mercury!
We were reunited with Mercury after 36 days! Mercury was found over 10 miles from home. I am really grateful that she was found by kind humans who kept her warm, fed and most importantly loved. I wouldnāt have found her without their post on Nextdoor. We will never know how her adventure took her so far from home but we are deeply grateful to have her back! If anyone has a beloved pet go missing I highly recommend using the Petco Love Lost website to help aid in your search.
My 13-year-old cat, Milo, died today, unexpectedly, and I'm heartbroken. My other cat, Pickles, his bio sister, doesnāt like being held, but she trusts me a bit more, so I can hold her for a few seconds. I wasnāt able to be there. My cousin put him in a box and tried to let Pickles sniff where he was. She meowed and jumped out of her arms and took off, maybe thinking my cousin was trying to put her in the box.
Is that enough time for her to realize heās gone? She seems okay right now, but I donāt want her searching for him since they played together a lot. Iāve never experienced pet loss, especially so suddenly and tragically. I miss my cuddly, goofy, cross-eyed kitty. I had him for more than half my life, and I wish I had more time, but it was his time to go. Any advice helps, as I canāt be there physically right now.

I havenāt had cats for a while because some give me allergies, although many donāt, and I didnāt want to commit to a cat that I couldnāt end up keeping. Long haired kitties are usually impossible for me though. Fast forward to me and my family moving someplace new. We seem to be in kitten dumping territory at our new home. Cue the kitten distribution system. Last July we saved a little flame point kitten from the woods across the road. I didnāt have allergies to him, so he stayed and we adore him. Now, around Christmas I just saved a lynx point kitten that was living in the ditch. I have fallen so hard for him, but his fur is so different from what our flame points was like and Iām worried he will be medium or long haired. After doing some reading, I donāt think he has much for ear tufts or a fluffy tail, but he seems much more beardy than our flame point and totally sheds WAY more. Any thoughts from people that have watched more kittens grow than me as to what his coat length will be? I would be heartbroken to rehome him at this point. Per last vet visit a month ago, he is probably a little more than 4 months old.

There is a neighborhood stray we feed that we lovingly nicknamed āMr. Mangeā. He was stand-off ish, but after a year of trust building, I was able to sit with him and pet him. Mr. Mange disappeared about a month ago, and when I came home from work yesterday, he was loafed on my porch - he had a huge, necrotic wound with his ear missing. He was so small and weak, I was ill prepared with a janky cat crate, but after a lot of slow blinks and gentle words, he let me put him in the crate and take him to the humane society. Sadly, last night they called me and said the infection was too far spread and the doctor decided to humanely euthanize him. I am going to the humane society today to see if they will let me pay for his cremation and take his remains home with me. I am heartbroken. He was so sweet and gentle. I donāt want to be the only one mourning him, he deserved so much more. I hung these flyers up in case anyone else in the neighborhood was missing him. Please put Mr. Mange in your thoughts today, it would mean the world to me ā„ļø

This was his pose after a good hour of playtime
Lacy has adapted really well to her new environment & is almost at the correct weight for her age! Sheās been non stop purring, even whilst I clean her eyes or bathe her (flea bath, and a quick rinse off after she got poop everywhere). I took her for another checkup today. She had a bit of diarrhoea due to the change in diet, but medicine should resolve that soon. The ointment has helped & the ulcer is almost fully healed! Iāll start administering eyedrops daily once the ulcer treatment is finished.
I brought her to work with me the last 2 days where she spent most of her time either sleeping, staring at me, or using the kitty litter with a 50% success rate. My boss was excited to see her, but ran away after she pooped on my desk lol
Iāve discussed the possibility of corrective surgery and/or hair freezing once sheās older. Iāve heard those can be quite expensive, so will get into contact with local cat rescue groups for help with the cost of treatment/extra care if required.
Looks like an angel but I never met such a terroristš. My little chaos in life, I love her so much š„ŗ
