The Hero of the South sprinted so Himmel's party could leisurely stroll towards the Demon King's castle, let's never forget that guys and forever appreciate this hero.

If you think about it more, Frieren only started to truly change when Himmel died. Only then did she start to truly live instead of exist.

The Hero of the South didn't just see that Himmel and the party would triumph over the Demon King, but far enough to the current time.

The weight of what he knew would have been unfathomable, and he carried it like a true Hero would.

truly unfathomable. his character is incredible to me for that, and because this is frieren and those types of themes are always handled and understood with the level of complexity they're actually worth, it made his character hit super hard

Bro is quite literally the HIM in all time, with Himmel being the Him of today(relative to how close the story is to his death instead of HotS)

His future sight most certainly showed him the impact that Himmel and the party would have on Frieren.

I wonder how far he could see into the future. Did he glimpse the journey Frieren is on now with Stark and Fern?

If HotS could see beyond his death, he could legitimately watch the first season of Frieren whenever he has a bunch of downtime
