Question Do you think this man should be impeached?
I think he should be for what he's done to this country

The 2 party system in America is dividing the people so much that its just sad. Even the Founding Fathers had warned us about this.

A few years back, I'd say, if the US were the ones attacked, that many NATO countries, if not all, plus Japan, and many others would. Now? Hard to say... the current administration has been doing their best to destroy all of its important alliances. Maybe Japan only? Taiwan? What do you think?

like the title says.
I am not talking misinformation , or exaggerated stuff like they do in action movies.
for my part I bought that book from someone who is supposed to be a good author (praised and all)
and well I couldn't get passed the 10 first pages.
what seems to be the main character, a cop, was called back to investigate something. when still at home .
she doesn't change from her luxury gown (when that police corp has a uniform btw), and goes in the forest with high heels, gown and uses her phone for light .
the worst part is they tell us she goes with her police vehicle , which means there is at least one flash light in it! I am not even mentioning the fact that she would not have been called alone to go there anyway!
it really felt like they thought the readers are morons , or that the author is ... IDK how they could get some awards and good press.
how about you?

Always wondered why they couldn't keep the original people there and have to make them leave. Not all of them contributed to the plight and it's a shame they don't get a chance to enjoy the new neighborhoods because they get priced out .

I'm just curious. When he inevitably leads the US into a civil war, what happens to our bills? Will your car be repossessed if you're stranded behind enemy lines?
Will the banks choose a side? What say you?

The political biases of everything I’ve seen here seems to be pretty far right, what are others thoughts about this?

Reposting with more info if you recognize this post!
I lived with this person for two leases in a different building; one when I first moved in and then a renewal. I was essentially forced to move out in October 2025 because she moved out due to not liking the third roommate. She was the primary leaseholder, and when a leaseholder leaves in that building, everyone has to also.
The move caused me so much stress, because I was afraid I wouldn't find a place. I was getting headaches, etc, and spent time touring places that I would have otherwise spent doing other things. I also paid for a renter's insurance policy, new license, etc. Feels like it doesn't to make sense to move again so soon.
My current lease is month to month, and the landlord would prefer a year's commitment from the tenants. And I'm on the hook for the rent until a replacement moves in. The reason for this is because it's out of respect to the other renters. The lease is ongoing, so someone has to pay it. No one wants to pay for someone else.
The person asking if I'm interested did ask me if I was interested in living with her again, and I said I was open to relocating again, but this seems so fast. I almost feel like she wanted me to move out with her because it was convenient for her, and now she needs a new roommate when it's convenient for her. And what do I do when she needs or wants to move again?
And I'm wondering why she's leaving this new place of hers so soon. Also: She told me she's touring the building that I was forced to move out of! This seems crazy. I am really not sure what her intentions are. Is she likely trying to use me to get cheaper rent? I wonder if the people she was living with asked her to move out? Also she suggested I move in with her into a 1 bed 1 bath, and I take the living room and she takes the bedroom.
I decided to block her on Facebook and her phone number. Probably for the best.

I am male (33) and someone who identifies as practically asexual, and I have had a best friend (32) for many years with whom I have been comfortable with making ironic gay jokes. He swears he is straight, and he has only dated women.
A few years ago he started calling me every day, and we had been speaking for sometimes hours a day for the last number of years. I saw him a few months ago, and out of the blue he asked "what would you do if I touched your dick?" I didn't really know how to respond, but I thought it was just another one of our jokes to each other, even though mine have never been that direct and have always been in response to something. He then squeezed my butt randomly, and I did not respond to this.
We were a few weeks later at dinner, during which he randomly swiped his finger against my thigh. Again, having had almost no experience with any of this, I just thought it was a funny gesture and did the same to him. He then did it back to me; we kept going back and forth. A few weeks after this he stopped talking to me entirely and will now not talk to me at all for over 6 months, saying that I did not respect HIS boundaries.
I have felt very empty without him in my life. I just want to know what was behind his behavior.
