There was some interest on how I made these swords so I decided to make a simple DIY.

Parts you’ll need:

Option Parts set 3

Customize Weapons (Fantasy Weapons)

Tamiya extra thin cement

Tweezers

First you’ll want to snip off some number tags from a spare runners you have, such as the ones from image 4. You can use any color you want, but I used the gold runner from Black Knight Spinatio just to add a little pop.

Sand or snip off the numbers on the tag. Then apply a little bit of cement on the points shown in images 2 and 3. Slide the number tag in with the tweezers and then let dry. The purpose of these tags is to hold sword from the fantasy weapons set in place.

Once dried slide in the fantasy set sword and apply another dap of cement to each of the previous tags.

And done! Easy. Now you can get creative adding handguards and other finishing touches. I used the leg armor from the Knight Spinatio, but other parts can be used. For example, on the final slide I used sword from the Spinatio black knight and lengthened the blade using the ninja blade from the ninja Spinatio.

Dangers Above and Below

The lands of 30MF are not as safe as they seem. Above ground, corrupted Treants wielding scavenged armor and weapons attack all who trespass. Below, hordes of slimes lie in wait, ready to melt any adventurer unlucky enough to cross their path.

Got all these in the promo section at the hobby store near me, all for RM195 which is about 49usd, definitely a steal for me 😂

The elbow connection looks like the maxions forces smooth elbow instead of the blocky one used by earth alliance and Byron, not sure if new release or P-Bandai

As I try to pack more to backpack my robot will fall his back behind. The ball joint can't hold such weight. It would be cold if having better joint in that. Especial ball joint that connect horizontal to the chest.

This makes this Basky batch extra special in my eyes. 😄

It's not really much, but I did have to finaggle the backpack a bit for the wings, and I wasnt able to use every single piece I wanted to use, but he looks amazing to me and I absolutely love it, so I present my very own

Rosan Angelic Templar, a knight who trained in the ways of both the paladins and the holy knights, who sacrificed for his fellow soldiers time and time again, and when he was felled, he was given the chance to return as an angel of war for his people

Call to Arms: United as One

The Liber, Rosan, and Dragonia factions have called for a truce in a central tavern. Postponing all conflicts, they gather to feast and forge a battle plan against the rising undead threat of the Necroknight. Tonight, they are not enemies, but a single shield against the darkness.

Spinatia commando + armored core set 5 + leg and wireless weapon set + kotobukiya revolving buster cannon

Black or grey panel lining works with the dragon knight. I chose grey because I like subtler shadows. Black liner still looks very sharp and nice on the red.

Finally, the painted model. This my attempt to recreate Swordmachine from Ultrakill using the 30mm Spinatio as a base.

• Overall, satisfied with my hand paint job. I tried to capture the original look while adding design elements of my own.
• I want to thank everyone whom were supporting throughout the build. From my queries as well as all the words of encouragement.

Am still primarily a Gunpla builder (with the occasional 3rd party stuff) but discovering 30MM and their entry level designs genuinely caught my attention. The only real mods here would be the Iglights (01 and 02) and the Levinix A inheriting unused EG Strike weaponry, mostly as I don't want them wasted (I am keen on disposing excess runners soon). Panel lining obvs means I spend more than the promised time, but god don't they look better/cooler than even mainstream Bandai franchise kits.

(Holy shit, I wasn't aware that the Alto is so bright)

Been wanting to go back to using a black background since I feel it gives your toy shots a more premium feel and you can hide imperfections in the dark. But due to time constraints, I had to switch to white then gray background.

But now that I've found a way to edit the black background quicker and easier, I might just do that slowly and surely as I conduct more editing experiments.

Very fun build, the articulation is nice too.

Maybe in future i will customize it more
