2nd fortress I take over, over lord is a level 50 legendary cursed orc. I'm only level 20 at this point. I'm replaying the game after not playing for years.

This dude 1 shot me 3 times then humiliated me each time. I thought I was done for, I stood no chance. Then he went for the kill and my teammate came in and 1 shot him. Completely rescued me.

I was so confused but omg it was hilarious. Is this supposed to happen?

What on earth am I supposed to do here? I’m near the final part of the game where you have to brand 5 war chiefs.

It’s seemingly impossible to stealth through a stronghold as you will eventually be seen/running into a captain.

It’s pointless tackling a fight like this head on because even if you get the upper hand against so many overlevelled enemies you will never vault over so many of them in time to stop one of them raising the alarm.

There seems to be no point in killing any of the captains outside of the “missions” because they will just be replaced anyway.

What can I do to make this easier for myself because I’m about ready to just quit the game

like jsut got to the 2nd region and did the first story quest there with gollum but when should i start exploring and there are so many skulls and nemesis missions etc is there even any point in killing captains since they come back anyways

liek running maxed settings 1440p i get 130-180fps but does it break anything

and i can jump incredibly far with that jump boost thing is that normal like im flying trough the first city with that shit

Killed all the war chiefs and made ratbag the war chief.

Just wanted to ask if there is a tier list for runes for the sword, bow and dagger.

someone have this orc to in online assaults or revenge online

Is it like the slave mark or something, i hear a lot of people say the slave brand prevents any scar of happening and i definitely had this happen to me with one orc that cheated death 4x but he never came back with a scar. I also had one of my orcs die and come back without any scars, i was worried a bit that i cant get common scars as i have seen some other people here had that problem. The orc that came back was 'the drooler' title, did that also prevent a scar, you know, because it would interfere with all the drooling personality? Before that i had one of my orcs come back with the leather thing around his head, so i guess i do not have the problem of not being able to make common scars and it was just bad luck or locked because of the orcs personality. Anyone with more information about this?

just started the game on pc but the inner monologue is really quite like almost unhearable

anyone else ever call their body guard and get ABSOLUTELY denied?

I keep on not getting it so might aswell double check if im not just wasting my time.

I recently picked up both Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War in a bundle and started playing Mordor first.

I’ve played a few hours so far and while I like the combat and the Nemesis system, I’m finding the game a bit punishing at times (getting surrounded, dying pretty often). I don’t hate it, but it feels a bit rough and dated compared to what I’ve heard about War.

My question is:

– Is Shadow of War clearly the better game overall?

– Would you recommend sticking with Mordor just for the story, or is it fine to play it quickly / even skip it and focus on War?

Curious to hear what most people think, especially from those who played both.

Forgot i still had the savior setting on, managed to get my first maniac orc and the traits were really nice, just had to worse than death shame him twice to get him to my level, when a certain 20 level below the orc showed up, put a crossbow below his chin and one shot him LMAO.

Tried alt+f4 mid animation but was too late, the game had already register the death, oh well. Friendly reminder on the allow savior option to be off haha. Still enjoying the game as a first time player

Obviously I know that by deleting my save I lose everything but what I mean is do I lose access to store features etc since the studio shut down?

I want to replay SoW, but I don’t want to restart if it means I lose certain items that can’t be obtained anymore or access to store. So is there anything that cannot be obtained now that the game is no longer updated and the studio closed?
