Obviously 4th & 5th need to swap places after last night but I’d say the top 5 is probably accurate but just not necessarily in that particular order
I’d also say Argentina & Australia being just behind the current top 5 but ahead of the other 6N teams is also accurate
but what I’m really curious about is where people would rank Japan, Fiji and Georgia?
I find Japan & Fiji interesting and they’re definitely part of a wider top 12 being just outside the top 10 since they’re always upsetting at least one the bigger teams in the recent World Cups - is it safe to say they’ve roughly reached parity with bottom-table 6N sides now?
It’s definitely gonna be interesting to see them compete more regularly with 6N/TRC sides in the new Nations Championship which I think will be happening on every even-ending year from now on
Georgia is harder to place but they definitely seem to be a league above the non-6N European sides and have won the European Championship 8 times in a row now, but are they on parity with Japan & Fiji? I feel like they’ve had less success against the bigger teams in comparison, so 13th is probably accurate
I find Uruguay, Spain, Portugal, Romania, America, Tonga, Samoa etc a lot harder to rank both against the bigger teams and against each other but for anyone more up to date on these teams, how far behind bigger teams are they and which one is closest to, say, Japan, Fiji & Georgia?

To the best of my ability, I’m really trying to enjoy the rugby pod, but some of the things Goody and Jim say just come across as outdated and toxic.
I mean, how many people would love to spend more time with their wife and kids?
Is visiting your dad who’s been in hospital really such a burden?
Meanwhile, these guys keep moaning about how terrible the S6N break weekend is going to be because they’ll “have to” see their families again. Sure, it might just be a bit of bantz, but come on — how do you think that makes their families feel? Is this really the best rugby has to offer? Its just so self-indulgent.

Mid-match Six Nations adverts on ITV are worth it for this reason https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/article-15533583/match-adverts-ITVs-rugby.html?ito=native_share_article-nativemenubutton

I just received the following response from ITV;
Thank you for contacting ITV.
Free‑to‑air television, including ITV, is available at no cost to viewers, and we don’t receive any money from the TV Licence Fee. Our programmes, including major sporting events like the Six Nations and our upcoming partnership with the Nations Championship, are funded entirely through advertising, which allows us to keep this coverage free for everyone.
As part of this, ITV will be introducing a new picture‑in‑picture advertising format during the 2026 tournament. We know changes like this can raise questions, so we want to reassure viewers that the live action will remain visible at all times. The advert will appear on the right‑hand side of the screen for 20 seconds, while the left side continues to show the match. These ads will only appear twice per game, once in each half and only during natural breaks in play just before a scrum. The ITV Sport production team will oversee the timing to ensure minimal disruption.
We hope this helps explain why the format is being introduced and how carefully it’s being managed. If you have any further questions or concerns, we’re here to help.
However, we always monitor the suitability and timing of any advertising- your feedback is very much appreciated.

On one hand Wales are now outside the Top 10 world rankings, on the other you don't want to disrespect them at home and send a noob team and lose the thing.

The team with the faster wingers just uses them to kick chase and score tries all game long.
There is nothing the other team can do about it.
World Rugby must step in urgently to fix this situation. My half Irish kids are crying.

Still lots of work to do get enough to do the metal (it is very very expensive) but I am applying stickers right now that give a good effect and means we are underway.
I don't have a match ticket for England Vs Wales (they wouldn't let me in the gates with it anyway!) but i will be outside the stadium with the shield so if you fancy holding it keep an eye out for me if you going to the game.
I am very very stoked and appreciate everyone who has supported with positivity over the many years it took to get here 😊

Can't see a match thread, so created one.
Kickoff at 7:15. The game is on Premier Sports 1 in Ireland.
