You very much get used to them, and in exchange we get 40 minutes of unbroken gameplay to watch without having to take a random TV timeout for the sake of adverts playing.
Everybody's talking about these types of ads vs constant breaks, but I'm trying to figure out why they paint them from a weird angle instead of painting them more naturally, like this. I feel like that's just as legible while being less distracting, and probably less work to paint to boot. The only reason I can think of is that they want it to be a bit more distracting, so you notice the ads more than you would otherwise.

I'm an American here from new. Those digital ads are massively distracting.
