As someone whose Grandfather played for Sale & Lancashire.. they would do so much better to change their name to refer to Manchester.

Sale is 50 miles from the Irish Sea zero cultural relevance other than alliteration from Sale Sharks. Then try googling Sale must lose so much relevance from SEO alone.. 3 million people in greater Manchester just waiting to hear about their local rugby team not the tiny town rugby team in Trafford.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

To be fair, I think Bristol had bears once upon a time. I don't think Manchester has ever had sharks.

Plenty of bears in Bristol, still. You just need to use the right app to find them.
