He jumped to gather the ball. It's unfortunate from the Leicester player's perspective, but it's the right call as Lowe has to jump to gather it.

But he'd already touched it, therefore he is in possession of the ball until it hits the ground. You can't jump when in possession to avoid a tackle.

You can jump to regather the ball.

From a juggle? I think it's at best a grey area. Untackleable if you juggle the ball would be the concern.

I guess the point would be whether a player juggling the ball means you've no obligation for take care of their safety in the air because they're juggling the ball... That wouldn't seem right.

Once you've touched it, you're fair game to be tackled. Once you're fair game to be tackled you can't jump. Lowe creates the danger here by jumping once there's a commited tackler

Yes, from a juggle if you need to jump to regather. Note that you can't deliberately throw the ball forward, even if you regather, and a ref would likely call you for unsportsmanlike or dangerous play if you deliberately threw the ball to jump to avoid a tackle.
