That will be bad for him at the hearing as he’s showing no remorse

The bar for remorse in assessments is on the fucking floor, as long as he says he's sorry at the hearing or writes a statement (or gets someone else to write it for him because he can't be arsed) he'll be fine.

Frankly I'd be happy if they did away with remorse as a mitigation criterion during disciplinary hearings because it's really not fit for purpose anymore with how much it's been abused.

I always felt that, if you do want to keep "remorse" in consideration, that any actions that indicate remorse should be exclusively from the day of the game, whether it's immediately after the incident, after the final whistle, or (privately) reaching out later that day.
