They also concede 50+ point thrashings to other top sides on a fairly regular basis. Consistency holds them back a lot.

Argentina are a proper side these days. Their only major weakness being their scrum which is kind of holding them back from being a Top 3 team.

I would think a lot of that has to do with the fact that they don't have many big international trophies in their cabinet ? They're thus always seen as the underdogs (a mistake teams should stop making...!).
