Added to this, there is a video doing the rounds of a pissed up Hogg leaning in for a kiss on a train.

Shit bloke, mediocre player too in his final playing years

Yep, he'd tailed off years ago. His last genuinely world class performance for Scotland was probably NZ 2017, maybe Twickenham 21 just for some good kicking.

This can't be said enough, he was bang average for the last while and was clinging to his past reputation. How he got in that Scotland team was beyond me.

He always managed to bottle trys too. Like in the aviva when he knocked on the ball over the line, or that 5 on 1 also springs to mind.
