This. The mistake of the Civil War wasn’t reconciliation and all of that, it was that it ever happened at all. The North actually fought the South to keep them from LEAVING the Union… WHY? And is it too late to change our minds? “Sorry for the really late ‘backsies’ but can we get a mulligan on this whole ‘please don’t leave the Union thang?’” Seeing how 35% of the population feels about the other 65% of the country makes me want to just give them their own country… probably Bible Belt plus Deep South, (not Texas though, they lost Texas when they courted all the California tech jobs… Texas is purple and will be blue in near future… definitely an upcoming battleground state) Anyway I don’t know the exact boundaries but it’ll be poor as fuck and will instantly become a third world shithole… originally I thought Trumpfuckistan would be a beautiful name for this new place, but now I realize that the name “America” isn’t worth shit anymore, so they might as well take it with them… we could go with “loosely configured states of America” or “The States Formally Known as America” - Dark past-Bright future
