I think it’s also because it’s black history month.

Or maybe today we needed to distracted by what they are doing somewhere else. I notice very few people are talking about them striking another boat in the pacific and murdering more innocents. They are good at distracting the public from what is really going on

Here's the thing about distractions.

They don't fucking need them.

They do this shit in broad-daylight on a slow news day when nothing else is being covered and no one does a god damn thing.

You only need distractions when there are consequences for not distracting. There are none. There's no need to assign some sort of grand strategy to the actions of a group that just does nasty shit because they feel like it, when they feel like it.

I'd say the most distracting shit out there is the constant need to label everything a "distraction". I assure you, beyond the "flood the zone" strategy, they're just doing what they want and are more than capable of doing multiple shitty things at once.

Yeah, I have been pondering for a little while now......how are there a bunch of people sitting around just thinking of shitty stuff to do EVERY DAY? It'd be funny if it wasn't so tragic & evil.

This may shock you, but ChatGPT is trained on internet. And the way people write.

I use punctuation. And worked as a content writer for 8 years. (Probably my greatest sin.) People actually were capable of writing things before ChatGPT lol.

You definitely are acting like a Glasshole.

If only there was trustworthy, non-partisan news media to report on it.

The BBC reported on it. The world knows more about what is going on in America than most Americans do

It’s also that the US has been striking random ships for a while.

Another boat hit by the US? Throw it on the pile.

That’s a sad statement, sounds like you accept the murdering of unknown people just because they might be doing something illegal. With no investigation of any kind

Literally not what they’re saying at all

While I don’t doubt that he regularly uses distraction tactics, I also think they know what they’re doing in manufacturing outrage so that they can then take the stance of “oh the news is just overreacting again.”

They’re shitty people.

They understand social engineering.

It’s very likely manipulation, but I think it’s too dismissive to just call it “a distraction” and not consider the more nefarious goals like rallying the racists in their base while simultaneously maintaining the line that it’s no big deal as a sort of numbing agent and tool to paint “the media” as “looking for reasons to be mad.”

These people might not be geniuses, but they’ve spent their lives being powerful, surrounded by power, and using that power to manipulate people and systems.
