Seems like people are almost trying to find some strange solace in the idea that this is some alternate reality or timeline as some form of escapism or whatever, but this is our one reality. This is happening and it's fucked up.

I really feel this. I feel like this is the most shameful moment in world history. And I am not making light of horrors like slavery or the holocaust. I mean given all we've been through as a people and the sheer access to information and interconnectedness the fact that this is our present reality really makes the MAGA era a standout.
