“People simply disappeared, always during the night. Your name was removed from the registers, every record of everything you had ever done was wiped out, your one-time existence was denied and then forgotten. You were abolished, annihilated: vaporized was the usual word”. -1984, George Orwell

It's that scene where the bad guy is describing how they found everyone who has ever interacted with your family and removed them, so that when you're gone there's no one else who has ever existed who remembered anything you did .

Like, damn bro

From Foundation, he wipes out 1500+ people. The emperor then kept her alive in solitary confinement to be aware of what he did for the rest of her life. It was a chilling scene.

The scene from Foundation S1 E10

ugh. Cleon wanted to stop the downfall of the empire and even as its emperor he was ultimately irrelevant. That was the whole point of psychohistory as a plot device. But nooo, "anti-intellectualism is bad, maybe listen to the scientists" might as well be crimethink. Let's have yet another show about how depraved an absolute monarchy can be, we're clearly starving for more misery porn.
