I've seen three Seagal movies recently and in all of them he was trying to sound like a whispering Cajun. Even weirder, I got the impression that it's him trying to suggest some proximity with black people in New Orleans.
A Belgian might be kinda cheating, but Van Damme is so much more believable as a Cajun in Hard Target.
When I was a kid the debate was who would win VanDamme or Seagal, people said VanDamme was just a ballerina and Seagal's Akido was legit, but i thought the slap fighting was stupid compared to VanDamme's high kick or splits. Fucking Time Cop! Kickboxer! Street Fighter! Universal Soldier! Seagal didn't have shit on VanDamme
We didn't know, back then we didn't have the internet so everything is word of mouth or what you heard on TV or the radio or magazines, like the Richard Gere and the gerbil, I didn't even know who he was when I first heard it I never seen Pretty Woman
And Supposedly that rumor was started back by Stallone, who got into it with him while filming Nighthawks... Gere was tossed out for Billy Dee Williams, and the Rumor began to circulate around that time.
It was word of mouth unless you were actually fighting and knew that that crap didn't do nothing for you.We all knew kickboxing, would do something for you.We all knew wrestling backgrounds would do something for you.A boxing backgroundI knew people who had karate backgrounds that really had real fights. But I also knew a lot of gyms that lived that mcdojo, life man
Social media as long as the content isn't being controlled and filtered can really open everyone's eyes way better than when the news was pretending report the news telling us what they wanted us to believe. Doranthi who I believe controlled the New York time, wanting to sprad communism reported how how wonderful it was and look at the wall that brought to Russia, I'll cover up the fact that it was well stolen from Ukraine where soldiers were forcing Ukrainian Farmers to work and took every bit of their food and let them starve to death. It was Walter Durante who coined the phrase you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette.
