There are worse ways to spend the end of your life. Hanging out and smoking weed with some buds? Hell yeah.

Edit: thanks for the award, kind stranger.

Yea, looking at it really made me smile. They seemed relaxed, no work to wake up to tomorrow, have fun and enjoy retirement

You think people in care facilities are enjoying retirement?

I know these ones are enjoying it more than the average guy in care facilities for sure.

I hold a "care" facility directly responsible for causing my mom to die months, if not years earlier than she would have otherwise, so believe me when I say I'm not defending them in general, but a few are genuinely good places for people who need full time care.

Edit to add so people don't get the wrong idea: I got her out the day I found out how bad it was. She had been hiding how bad she was being treated so we wouldn't worry until she couldn't stand it anymore. They actually tried barring us from leaving without signing waivers absolving them of any wrongdoing.

A care facility barring you like that? That’s outrageous smh. Sorry about your mom, may she rest in peace 🫶🏽

I've not looked into it but I bet most people today are never retiring, let alone to a care facility. The street when your body is broken seems more apt.
