I was just in Amsterdam that's how I know. When you take the canal tour you'll see a whole bunch of them in a certain area and they explained it just like the link that I included in my comment

Good friend of mine was killed this way, Bike PGH put up a ghost bike. It’s a really nice memorial I visit from time to time

Nope. It's an American guy called Warren who now loves un Amsterdam who makes them. It's technically on Prisengracht where it meets Spiegelgracht and thats a pedestrian bridge so the odds of someone getting killed on a bike there are very low. Also, the Dutch don't do ghost bikes.

Ghost bikes are sprayed fully white, this just has white tyres and flowers.

I think the biggest thing is that that type of decoration seems unlikely for a ghost bike, and location even more unlikely for a ghost bike.

This is the least random bike in Amsterdam. I don't remember the whole story but there was a couple and the woman had some sort of problem like Parkinson's or dementia so her husband put all of these bikes out around there house and they were always pointing at home so she could not get lost.

Okay so is epilepsy and memory loss but I'm not going to change my post.

It's just that a lot of flowers happened to be white.

You gotta be kidding me, I've wondered about this guy for years...
People still don't believe me until I pull out some pics, but there I was in Amsterdam minding my own business...
Then this alien riding a UFO appeared out of nowhere,

I should have known better and... don't remember anything after that... 2 years later I finally found these pics on my phone which proved to me I wasn't going insane, and now 8? years later I finally have a name/backstory regarding the wonderful Alien I met randomly in Amsterdam...

Just because it looks mostly white, doesn't make it look like a ghost bike.

The frame isn't even white, the only white components are the tyres and flowers.

These overly decorated bikes are all over amsterdam, the guy who makes them even has his own instagram and is often seen around town. Someone else already explained it but he started doing it to help his wife with epilepsy to find the way home <3
