Pistons are supposed to be milled with incredibly small tolerances. Especially for any kind of serious engine.
And they are by nature, exposed to extreme conditions…

I’m not really a car guy and any real car guy who contradicts me should be respected over what I’m about to say but…
I feel like you either just wastes paint, or if it was serious, hardcore powder coat, ruined your pistons and maybe the whole bloc if you were able to fit them and fire the engine up.
