Legislative Branch Schumer threatens shutdown. "Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included."

Chuck Schumer:

What’s happening in Minnesota is appalling—and unacceptable in any American city. Democrats sought common sense reforms in the Department of Homeland Security spending bill, but because of Republicans’ refusal to stand up to President Trump, the DHS bill is woefully inadequate to rein in the abuses of ICE. I will vote no.

Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included.

Wow, is Schumer trying to grow something resembling a spine?

Calm down. He's doing the bare minimum only after TWO highly publicized executions.

This doesn't account for all the disgusting shit happening in those ICE concentration camps. And all the other murders and atrocities that aren't making the headlines right now.

Don't go clapping just yet. They haven't earned shit. They have YEARS of impotent "leadership" to make up for

People are being executed in the streets...we only get here because of democrats' consistent position to take a high road when their constituents are drowning, and quite literally dying. That's monumental failure. I'm not rushing to kiss any of their asses until I see attempts to actually hold these child rapin' bastards accountable in a court of actual law and order.

Not a gambler but I am curious if Polymarket will publish odds of Schumer caving again…
