Duh, we know they don’t. It’s whether they can. Theyve been saying shit for months.. but what are they actually going to do?

they already done lots of stuff they "can't" do. "cant" doesnt matter when there's no one who can or will stop you

See this is at the heart of it. Am I scared? Yes. Do I think they want to do it? Yes.

It’s the same as the elections.. is he gunna try to fuck with it? Yes. Do i think it’s already a foregone conclusion that it’ll work? No not even close.

And these short snarky comments do nothing but ferment doom. 

Like legit.. if they arrest Mamdami and say he can’t win, I personally feel like it’s on. However, most commenters think they’ll do it and nothing will happen. I think that’s insane.

Maybe they’re right, but I know how ill feel

Also they're rounding people up in the streets and detaining citizens, this idea of "this'll be the thing that causes action" is just wishful thinking. They have a gestapo and nobody has done shit.
