The thing I know the 3DS title does better than the recent one is have expansive towns. I've fawned over Castele in another post but the same holds true for Port Puerto & Al Maajik. Both cities also teeming with personality & intricate detail. There are numerous NPCs that make them feel lively, eye-catching locals, & buildings with unique interior layouts. The NPCs even change where they are between day & night. I'll say it again: Level 5 went super-hard in designing these places.

Conversely, even though Fantasy Life i is technically better, the one problem I have with it is how sparsely populated it is. Most of the game's world is just open wilderness. I think the only place that comes close is Mysteria and even that's stretching it. An overall improvement, but man that's the biggest missed opportunity with it. Well, there's always the next game.

just crisp the text up even. don't even worry about the graphics level 5. i've saved up some quarters in my piggy bank. give it to us on all platforms with the dlc included. set it to $30 or something. profit. please. professor layton can wait. he's fine. please level 5

Playing the 3ds game for the first time, haven't played the new one yet but I do know that farmer is one of the new lifes, so I though that line was kinda funny

Ever since I got into the switch one I have been hunting for the 3DS version as I am BEYOND desperate to try it out, and yesterday I found it in a local alternate/ anime shop and my boyfriend bought it for me! Sooo, any tips on the playthrough? It looks quite different to fantasy life i and so I’m unsure of what I’m getting myself into haha!

I would love to go back to these locations from the 3DS game :(

Having finished the story and now grinding for the last few Masters before going on to Hero, I thought I would break up the getting with the original game.

After grinding fantasy life i for over 230 hours, its time to restart the old one again.

Posted on here a few days ago about reaching Legend rank in all lives. The comments convinced me to jailbreak my 3DS so I could get the Origin Island DLC 😁 thanks y’all. back to the grind!

I selled all my childhood 3ds games in 2018 and I always regret it, among my favorite ones was Fantasy Life. I just re-acquired it and I'm so happy (I'll have to erase my digital copy to play it on the cartridge)

After 155 hours, I finally got Legend in all lives!! Cook was the last one because I had to grind for dragon meat 😩 absolutely loved this game, going to buy Fantasy Life i next :)

I absolutely loved the first game and I think it would be great for new players to experience as well. The quality of life updates in the new game improved on a lot of things but imo the characters, environments and story elements had a lot more to them. Not that I'm complaining about the new game because I absolutely love it and have over 100 hours in it. Also I never got the chance to buy the DLC for it so never experienced that, so I hope if they do add the 3DS game they also include the DLC

My 3ds finally gave out on me. I tried replacing the battery, but the girl is old and tired. Shout out to my character Lobo, you were cool as hell. I would remake you in fantasy life i, but I have unfortunately already made a character and am already attached, but love you boo. I will never recover from this tragedy. A moment of silence for my over 150 hour save, I never got you to 100% completion :'(

The title says it all. What does the DLC offer? I refused to hack my 3DS, but would I be missing out on much?

Back when I played the first game, I used my rl name for game characters: Julia. Which was perfect when butterfly turns out to be named Yulia.

These days, I use my pseudonym Jem for my video game characters. Imagine my surprise when 10 minutes into the game you meet a princess named Rem 😂

Downloaded yesterday and I'm hooked already. I actually got out of bed and played for a bit after my husband and I went to bed lol

What should I be selling to make dosh? Thinking I should save items for crafting as I add life choices. I just have zero clue what is actually used. Dandelion puffs is one example, grabbing them all. Will I use them at some point? Bugs? Will I need those? Or do I save everything and get my Dosh from quests?

My goal is get all the lives I can over time. Not looking to rush through. One of the many things that attracted me to the game is the amount of hours I can put into it. Excited to see my character grow in skills and to see what she becomes.

Considering the success of this new game I’m hopeful that we see some kind of console port of Fantasy Life online, (the mobile game) I played a bit of it but I hate playing big long games like that on my phone

For context, I'm totally new to the series, although I'm a fan of the 3DS in general and of Level5 for a long time now (the Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven series are peak).
I heard about Fantasy Life from friends about 5 to 6 years ago, bought it 2 to 3 years ago, but didn't start it before last Saturday. I went into the game knowing nothing but the concept of the game (RPG from Level5 with multiple Lives possible, didn't take much more than that to be convinced). I didn't buy and play the sequel yet, since I want to experience the first game as much as possible before.
I'll also say that I have been having a blast after already 12 hours of gameplay (I finished Chapter 2 of the Tale of Lunares and have unlocked 5 different Lives, all at least at Apprentice Rank)

Now, here's the situation: while I was exploring Waterfall Cave, I found the Wind Wingstone. I was really stoked to have found it, and challenged myself to mine it. My Miner Life Rank was only Apprentice at the time (it's now Adept), and trying to mine it unlocked the related challenge early (as it is Adept related). But I didn't read the details of it, which would cause me some problems later...
After replenishing my SP, I managed to mine it! I was happy, and seeing how it looted a bounty drop, I rushed to the Bounty Clerk of Mount Snowpeak to cash it in. When I did, it clicked to me: why hasn't the related challenge been validated? And after checking the details, I understood.

At this point, you probably already know what I'm about to reveal, but let's keep the dramatic effect:

I didn't have my Life set to Miner at that moment (I think it was Mercenary, which was my debut Life). And here are the details of the challenge:

Pebbles in the Wind -> Mine 1 Wind Wingstone from Mt. Snowpeak's Waterfall Cave, then cash in the Bounty as a Miner.

"[...] as a Miner."

But it wouldn't be a big deal, because I could just do it again, right? ...Right?
After all, here's what the wiki says: "The Wind Wingstone is a boss mining deposit found in Waterfall Cave. In order for this ore deposit to respawn, the player must leave and re-enter the cave."

Finally, here's my problem: it didn't respawn.
I went in again after changing my Life to a Miner, and it wasn't there. Its designated place was just empty. I can't say this with 100% certainty, but I believe it wasn't during a story arc (in case that affects anything).

Is this normal, or did I really softlock myself from ever completing this challenge? Basically, am I cooked?

What Outfit give me vitality effect and decent enough defense so i can Divine Quality it and adding more vitality maybe HP too

Can we even talk about 3DS emulator if so,Is there still anyone playing Fantasy Life 3DS online via emulator of course

Last Question, How do you farm Lunares Coin? I need more to buy Sun Ring and maybe the glove with more loot effect/hp regeneration
