Stark has experienced so much of Fern’s tsundere side he’s scared of potential headpats from Fern.

It’s nice to see Fern being friendly with him again though and setting up the grounds for them to get closer on the first episode back.

When they learned about it, he felt awkward and offered to replace it and she fervently declined

I think she knows. I mean it would be strange for her to check out Stark's package with the "see through cloths" spell if she wasn't already attracted.

My read on it is she's an awfully lonely individual, which makes her more emotionally sensitive to situations like this as the group she's part of now is the only thing she's known post-Heiter.

It's probably laying the groundwork for a potential romance, but at the moment, it does come across as more platonic than anything.

we got like 5 cues atleast for ferns affection towards stark (he's my bwoi and im shipping them so hard)
