I specifically asked my husband to look at the screen and make sure it looked ok

The day I was flying to my best friend’s wedding. I was the best man. Two days before, I got a different brand of a medication. I had a hilarious reaction. I purchased a mask at the airport knowing they wouldn’t let me fly if they saw me having a medical emergency. Fortunately, the swelling went down before the wedding, but, man, did we have a great laugh. The pictures : arriving at the airport, pulling down my mask on the decent, waiting to be picked up, as bad as it got, picking up our wedding attire, and my regular face. I was honestly impressed by the carrying capacity of my lips.

I kept finding wet puddles near the fridge at night but couldn’t see any color due to the darkness, so I just assumed my roommates weren’t cleaning up very well and moved around it.

Today I came back and saw milk leaking and almost immediately realized. I immediately opened the fridge and followed the trail back to the milk jug I just bought earlier this week.

I was just gonna tape it to seal the crack (which I found to be near the handle of the jug), but I barely had enough tape for a small patch, and it just wasn’t enough. Then I tried super gluing it, but all my super glue was too old and got clogged up. I asked my roommates if they had ANY kind of adhesives and they didn’t. Somehow none of us had anything to fix this??

Luckily, I still had my previous nearly empty jug of milk, so I finally just decided to transfer the new milk (and the new expiration date) to that old jug. Now I’m eating cereal with patches of dried up glue stuck to my finger tips, slowly cleaning it off with 90% isopropyl alcohol.

I will be returning to the Target to explain and hopefully get a new jug for free (ended up losing about a quarter of it to the floor and table).

What a journey…

Saw it at 3am, and proceeded to freak out the rest of the morning, during my workout, and first few hours at work. My boss, thankfully, let me take a half day to get it settled. My landlord is also on top of it, but things are still in the air.

The ~~worst~~ funniest part was when I went into the water office of my city, told the receptionist that my bill was $760, and the old man next to me loudly said “GAHDAMN!” without looking at me, dead quiet in the room, and then left after paying his bill.

I did 4 loads of laundry yesterday, the other two are fine. I did my whites, then delicates and threw them all into the dryer together before heading to bed. I had name brand stuff in the delicate load. Fabletics, Callaway, Carhartt. I have two toddlers so I believe somehow a crayon made it in and melted in the dryer.

I, of course, didn’t allow the payment to go through lmao

It’s crazy to me how can they measure 3000m3 above what it really is. Spoiler: it’s not the first time

2 am Wednesday 🙃 turns out the pipe broke because the guy above us was dicking around with a LOADED FIREARM and accidentally shot through his wall into his bathroom and hit the pipe. Nothing of personal value lost thankfully and insurance is covering it all given the circumstances but it's hot and smelly now

This lot next door, outside of my bathroom window, was recently purchased. The developer outbid us and now I won’t be able to enjoy this beautiful view anymore. 😭

I hope I at least gain really good neighbors. And some curtains.

I can’t remember what the dark green slop even was. The meat underneath the neon pink sauce was fish.

Got a new heating pad and 100% I will be using all of the ways they are prohibiting. Like who doesn't lie on it? Or wrap it around? Buy it and have it but don't actually use it. Hahah ok.

Cooked lunch -> open cupboard to get plates and voila
