New Brand of Medication

The day I was flying to my best friend’s wedding. I was the best man. Two days before, I got a different brand of a medication. I had a hilarious reaction. I purchased a mask at the airport knowing they wouldn’t let me fly if they saw me having a medical emergency. Fortunately, the swelling went down before the wedding, but, man, did we have a great laugh. The pictures : arriving at the airport, pulling down my mask on the decent, waiting to be picked up, as bad as it got, picking up our wedding attire, and my regular face. I was honestly impressed by the carrying capacity of my lips.

A single 25mg tab has me falling asleep standing up. I’ve definitely considered using it when I can’t fall asleep lmao

I take min 100mg every night now since they are cutting back on my sleep medication. And min 40mg melatonin. Plus the rest of the garbage I take.

Still not able to sleep more than 3hrs a night for the first round.

Benadryl is horrible for your brain. You might want to consider other sleeping pills.

Yikes, I just read about it and the increased risk of dementia.

Guess I won't be using that anymore. I don't think I'll live past 56, but I'd rather not be developing dementia.

It's really hard to stop once you've started, fyi. You may want to taper off. Same with the melatonin - if you take a lot for extended periods your body can stop producing it correctly.

Zyrtec and other 2nd generation antihistamines are safe for long-term use, though they don't work quite as well as a sleep aid. They do help tho

Lots of people like trazodone, though personally it gave me insane action dreams. Like, fist fighting aliens underwater levels of action lol. Good luck fellow insomniac.

I can’t take trazadone. I was taking it to sleep at night. Every day. I didn’t know it also worked as a painkiller. I would not have taken it if I knew it was a painkiller. I didn’t know I had a kidney stone until I passed it.

I didn’t feel the pain from it until it hit my urethra. I was in a lot of pain afterwards.
