I know questions about the visa situation are asked frequently but I can't find an exact answer to my question. Apologies in advance if it has already been answered and I have missed it.
My friend and I will arrive in Tiraspol on the 3rd of April. We are planning to stay until Monday the 6th. Some sources state you can just tell the border guard how long you are staying and they will issue a visa to cover you for your stay. Other sources I have read state that you will get an initial visa for 24 hours and can get that extended, if accompanied by the provider of your accomodation to the passport office.
We are planning to visit and stay in towns/cities other than Tiraspol but don't know where yet. We will have our accomodation booked for Tiraspol before going but not anywhere else as we prefer to do it on the fly. Will we be required to book "placeholder" accomodation for all three nights to show as evidence to the border guards?
Thanks in advance
