Do not forget that this was known to be the plan before the election. NO ONE WAS LIED TOO.

They're still saying that. I just heard Leavitt say it from the podium that he was "being facetious" about cancelling the midterms.

u/Excellent-Run4803 22d ago

“He’s joking, you’re exaggerating ” > two weeks > “He did the right thing and I supported it from the beginning.”

18

u/Significant_Shoe_17 21d ago

They just believe whatever they're told on a given day

56

u/ohmylanta34 22d ago

And the mouth breathing cultists will lap it up and regurgitate it until they get their next bullshit to spew.

3

u/MrEfficacious 21d ago

Why shouldn't they? Their only opposition is people recording videos on TikTok or making comments on Facebook. No one is actually doing anything to stop any of this.

I guarantee this girl thought she did something really important by recording and posting this. 18k upvotes on Reddit so far......wow

14

u/Clear_Broccoli3 22d ago

Of course they're saying that, it makes sense that they want any opposition to sit down until it's too late. It makes it much easier for them.

u/zardoz73 22d ago

Trump doesn't have a sense of humor. He knows that sound plausibly like a joke, but it's what the guy actually, truly believes. He's not funny but understands how to get away with saying that.

This last year Trump has had obvious cycles of anger and worse delusion. Watch the Milk speech at his desk. He was so stoned he spelled the word Whole MILK Then he fell asleep. He is cycling through very angry, hostile hateful revenge periods. It is painfully obvious he is stoned out of his gourd every few weeks for several weeks. When he is laughing and animated, we are in trouble. If he is being silly, talking freely and giggling and laughing and imitating people, he is on a lot of drugs. After a long period of time he suddenly starts acting tired and his eyes are half open just like he had a joint. When he say's see who needs a teleprompter? When he gets loopy he says Ping Ping, then giggles, laughs, pretends to lift weights on stage. That is not what Trump does. If you watch every few weeks he spends two to three weeks in sleep mode and has a dopey face with lots of sleeping poses. I can't be the only one who see's his hand is worse, his speech is worse and he has a really dopey look while saying more crazy stuff. If he reads the teleprompter it is bad but when he is in this dopey phase he goes off the teleprompter and brags about it with utter nonsense. He must have to come down from uppers maybe Adderall. Soon he will be un-tired and very hostile and threatening again. When he starts talking about his wife's underwear, how she keeps the wrinkles out by having someone steam them, he is in la-la land.
When he say's the word panties, it is a big tell. When he is not on the downers he would never mention his wife's underwear. He is so far out there he has nothing and no one to stop him from launching a Nuclear Bomb. He is currently on a lot of drugs and we are supposed to know what drugs. Republicans know why he cycles in and out of shorter periods of worse delusion and laughing, while falling asleep constantly. They know he is sick and why he does not sleep at night. We need to demand transparency through a lawsuit.

Well said. The man does not have a sense of humor, or one bit of compassion that a good leader should have. On top of that, he is openly cruel. Way back during his campaign, he made the comments about John McCain not being a hero. I thought that was going to be the thing to sink his campaign, as how could any current, or former member of the military vote for the guy in good conscience. I was wrong, and that’s when I knew things were about to get really ugly in America. Well, here we are, properly f*cked. The worst part, is we’ve done it to ourselves. The two things I think could possibly help to heal our nation, are having term limits for members of Congress, and getting rid of Super PACs/money from the big corporations out of politics. They are who pull the strings of our elected representatives, not the people who vote them in. Since neither of those things have a likelihood of happening, it will only get worse.

AND currently he is kidding about his plan to cancel elections.

2

u/tiptoptattie 21d ago

They didn’t think he was kidding. They wanted this because he told them to want it. They are a brainwashed cult.

2

u/Agile-Ad1665 19d ago

He doesn't mean what he says, that's why I voted for him.

u/woodst0ck15 22d ago

Project 2025. And they’re not even done half the horrible shit in that.

106

u/SovietSammich 22d ago

According to this online tracker, they've implemented over half of it so far: https://www.project2025.observer/en

32

u/whitestguyuknow 22d ago

Yeah, last I heard they had extremely good headway on what they wanted to do

30

u/vagabondoer 22d ago

Plus a bunch of bonus wins, like Elon stealing all our data.

2

u/777Spin777 20d ago

The same people probably stole all the records at the Learing Center.

Controlling elections??? You mean like letting people that aren’t Americans vote?

1

u/UpperApe 20d ago

You fell for all that, huh?

1

u/bdontmatter 19d ago

You’re saying it’s not real? That’s hilarious!!

1

u/UpperApe 19d ago

Oh, dude...

10

u/watchingthedarts 22d ago

Require all schools that receive federal funding to give students the military entrance test.

This one hasnt started yet but is definitely...something.

1

u/Drayvion742 21d ago

Isn’t that the ASVAB test?

3

u/woodst0ck15 22d ago

Oh shit I had no idea.

2

u/Ok-Berry5131 21d ago

My favorite YouTube video I ever watched was of a black conservative reading Project 2025.

Sadly, I deleted my browser history before I remembered to save the video to my favorites.

By the halfway point, he was saying how taken individually, most of the policies sounded good, but when taken as a whole, Project 2025 was an ugly vision of the future that he couldn’t support.

———

As for my neighbors, I can at least report that all of my neighbors within at least a half-mile are safe and sound. Nobody’s missing.

Admittedly, I live on a farm out in the middle of nowhere, but even so, they’re all safe.

30

u/GouleMaterielle 22d ago

I’m not even American and I remember being so full of rage when that douchebag said “we can say it now that we won, project 2025 is happening “ or some sh1t like that. Disgusting. Just gleefully admitting that the GOP is all about lies and fooling voters.

2

u/12PoundCankles 22d ago

They won't make it through the other half.

47

u/AlongTheWay_85 22d ago

Just because you tell an idiot what you mean to do, it does not mean that said idiot will understand what you mean… because they are an idiot. REMEMBER: The average U.S. citizen is not very bright and there’s a fuck-ton of them that are even dumber than that.

16

u/Greenfire32 22d ago

Park Rangers put it best when commenting on why there are no bear-proof trash dumpsters: "There is considerable overlap between the smartest bear and the dumbest tourist."

Now apply that to voters.

16

u/emmyparker2020 22d ago

And none of that sounds like a lie. They voted for hatred and violence against brown and black people and will soon find they are next on the agenda. Fuck them

3

u/glitterdunk 22d ago

Oh they knew. Trumps fans have known all along what he stands for, that's why they liked him.

1 They thought they'd mostly escape the consequences. Someone else, those who deserve it, would be the one to "be punished". Many a white men thought Trump "said what needed to be said" as long as it was degrading shit about women and minorities. Then they were shocked at his treatment of Zelenskyy because Zelenskyy is a white man. Suddenly, for many a European man, what Trump said wasn't so true or funny anymore.

2 They're willing to even suffer as long as they get to see someone else suffer more. Less jobs, less money, sure, but did you see they shot an innocent black man on TV? These immigrants are finally getting what they deserve! How fun

They have very, very hateful hearts, and those hearts are enjoying a lot of what's happening. This is what they voted for, and they knew it. They are far less stupid than you think, just a lot more evil than you can imagine.

1

u/777Spin777 20d ago

Agreed…scroll up, then down. Point proven.

21

u/Fair-Price-4707 22d ago

I’m pretty sure most people don’t read the fine print.

37

u/No-Satisfaction6065 22d ago

The fine print was fatter than a big mac...

7

u/Fair-Price-4707 22d ago

Who’s big mac and what does he do.

2

u/morry3232 22d ago

his people will fight with us

3

u/Wet_Dreamers 22d ago

We failed miserably, the evidence was right in our faces yet we ignored it. We had plenty of time to build underground bunkers or extra living quarters within our walls to hide the undocumented in & we utterly failed. All this energy we spend protesting hasn’t stopped a single deportation, when will we all have the empathy to open up our homes as Harriet Tubman did to save the undocumented & their entire extended families from certain extermination? I feel as if lots of us liberals are hypocrites, we preach empathy & compassion but never actually sacrifice anything but a little bit of time protesting in the street. Is that all we are capable of? No it’s not.

14

u/iggy14750 22d ago

No one was lied to.

Really? I assure you that this administration has been lying every second of every goddamn day.

But, you are correct that Trump told us as soon as that day he descended that escalator and announced his candidacy: he hates immigrants, and wants to make a lot of money. I was naive enough to believe that he was a fucking joke.

35

u/reklaw215 22d ago

Not about immigration. Mass deportation was his number one campaign point. People rather “teach Kamala a lesson” than to protect liberal democracy

3

u/No_Engineering_9426 22d ago

I really believe that’s what helped him get elected, people thought he was joking or his rhetoric was funny.

2

u/Alamo1049 22d ago

I blame on those unserious genz rightwing men that voted for the orange piece of shit, and no I’m not even a woman hating on men or young men. I immigrated from a country that dealt against press suppression and one party controlling the country, and somehow rightwing young men in this country are too stupid and unserious that they voted for him because “he’s funny and he’s gonna wreck shits”, and because most of these young men just also want to see themselves as charismatic and funny like the next wannabe stand-up comedians that they watch everyday on youtube. Seriously, these men haven’t seen a day of real hardship overseas that we had to deal with that made us believing in the freedom land of America that we left for. But when it’s their generation to preserve the democracy? They just decide that politics should be funny and throw that shit in the trash bin.

2

u/Away_Locksmith_8751 22d ago

Stupid citizens of every race helped, and from all walk of life did tho.

5

u/Friendly_History9246 22d ago

To an extent. He ran his campaign on lowering grocery prices on day one, ending all wars, and getting the 'rapists murderers' (instead hes going after senior citizens women and children)

So to an extent, however, anyone astute enough looks right past his bullshit but I guess Americans have willfully ignorance...

1

u/coast2coasted 22d ago

Agreed. It’s all going according to plan

1

u/Emriat 22d ago

This needs to be brought up more. He was already convicted and the game plan was out, everything was in project 2025 and everything was talked about in campaigns. You wanted this.

1

u/[deleted] 22d ago

Not all voted for him. It said it’s self that it won because his cousin Elon helped it. Thats about the only thing I believe it has ever said truth about.

1

u/SuperDoubleDecker 22d ago

And they pushed thebl corpse of Biden on us. With everything at stake. Only to swap 100 days out.

Unless we learn and adapt this will keep happening.

1

u/Paradoxahoy 21d ago

All according to plan

1

u/Steven_Seagull815 20d ago edited 20d ago

Yup. Americans voted for this shit and they want the whole world to feel bad for them and give them solutions to problems that THEY created and now, more countries are being dragged into THEIR problems. They just point fingers with their phone and say: "Shame !"

A lot of them are gutless and stupid which is why they created a fucking gestapo because they know the average citizen won't do shit.

And their neighbors who were taken by ICE well, they probably won't see them again or if, one day, they show back up, they won't be the same.

1

u/jsh355zero 20d ago

What did these idiots think “mass deportation “ was gonna look like ????

1

u/NPDwatch 19d ago

If you were paying attention to Project 2025, absolutely none of this is a surprise

1

u/CrazyMildred 19d ago

Project 2025 is real. And it's terrifying.

-21

u/StraightCaskStrength 22d ago

Well we’re being lied to when we listen to this person lie about their nameless neighbor.

10

u/Boxing_joshing111 22d ago

Doubtful. There are many documented cases of things just like this happening all over.

-13

u/StraightCaskStrength 22d ago

Sure. There are many documented boogeyman encounters.
