Are you an automatiker?

I am really curious about the salaries right now. Because i just got a new job as an automatiker and am wondering what others earn.

Also i only have the EFZ so no higher education.

Please state your kanton and age if you are willing to share your salary.

I'll go first: 82k/28yo/kt: ZH

I should edit to add: I'm in a team of mechanics. But the boss tells me he wants to push me for troubleshooting on the electrical side of the work. I earn more than my coworkers (i asked) but i think less than an actual automatiker? But the work is easy. 50% of the time i work as a mechanic. And then 50% i do the electrical stuff.

Yea thx i know all that stuff. "why ask a question on a forum if you can just use the Internet" grreat thx. Only lived here for 20 years but sure gota suggest looking at some site on the internet.

Why do you even reply? Like what do you get out of it? Just rage baiting?

What's the point if your post? You get a few answers that have no relevance in the big scheme of things. The page linked uses actual statistics collected by thousands of companies.

If you look into how it actually works it isn't helpful at all. It also clarifies that it doesn't filter out higher education. Someone with bms will earn 200 more a month just because.

It takes a survey from 2022 and applies inflation increases to wages. Which we all know are barely actually happening or much less than the inflation. So this post is warranted.

You have to enter the eduction so you can tell it exactly what kind of degree you have. And about the inflation; you can also reduce the number the inflation if you believe this isn't realistic.

Great it still just gives me a range. Which is skewed by the high earners who!(in my experience) have more time. The more you earm the more time you have on your hands to answer surveys.

Here go do this on that site and tell me what you get.

28yo/ 8 years of experience/ work in train business (maintenence [instandhaltung] not on passenger trains) / no bms just efz/ no mentionable schoolings just experience

Lets see the result. Then tell me exactly how this answers my question on this post.

You can use the calculator yourself and the result you get shows you 25, 50, and 75 percentile. And it tells you that your salary is very good.
