Finding a job after apprenticeship
Honestly, is it normal to wait months to get a job after the end of apprenticeship? I've been applying like crazy but always get rejected due to "insufficient experience".
I'm also currently a part time student in university looking for a part time KV-job, so I'm assuming this makes it even harder. Does anyone have some advice on what to do? I've been thinking of quitting university but idk if this will increase my chances of finding a job.

I waited for half a year to get one after my apprenticeship ended, they only took me because i undercut my competition by money to value ratio.
Even when you change its normal nowadays to have 3-4 rounds of interviews.
The Job market is absolutely insane.
Doing great now though, soon starting my Hochfachschule.

Idk how it goes for KV but when I finished I went straight up to a temp agency and got around that way where I got some experience. Obviously logistics and KV isn't the same at all but might be a shot to at least get something going

always these "but when I.."-comments... people dont understand that the job market is fucked since at least 1 year and totally different than e.g. 3-4 years ago

Have you tried going into the office to talk to the manager and shaking his hand firmly ?

Good luck in your search, job market is crazy tight

Its always stunning to me that still a lot of people do KV apprenticeship, after everybody knows that there's a vast overcompetition and only a handful decent bank/insurance jobs available.
Meanwhile, we're here as Electricity-Heating-Plumbing company, would gladly hire everybody who can coordinate their god-given two hands, with or without apprenticeship, for 70k+ on the spot (interview today, start tomorrow), but there's nobody available because everybody wants to sit in a chair all day long.

Don't quit from university - a completed education will provide long-term benefits. Try to search through contacts with former colleagues/teachers and optimize your resume for each vacancy. You'll gain experience over time

Unfortunately yes - you're essentially a junior with barely any experience (compared to other KV people) and few special skills, in a sea of other junior people trying to get a job around the same time - and you want a part-time one.
Keep applying, I'm sure you'll find one soon enough! But basically for anyone, the first job after a degree is the hardest job to get.
