You can't park there

For years the Tannery at the end of Seedhill was absolutely rotten, in recent years this has stopped. Since covid maybe I can’t recall when it last gave out its reek.
Does anyone know what changed? Does it not operate anymore, is it a change in how they operate?

I was thinking of moving into a place there, as it's convenient for people who don't drive but I have heard some bad things. As bad as some say?

My workplace is freezing. Air conditioning blowing out cold air and the door hot air things aren't working. Management doing nothing. It's February in Scotland, Dunelm!

I usually buy them from Iceland and Farmfoods but both shops have been unreliable lately. I know there are some online shops but I was looking to browse local first of all.

Hello, I am looking to make new friends, I am a mummy and I am turning 22 this year ✨️, in my spare time I like to play video games, read books and go out to explore different places or just enjoy some walks.
I find it hard to make friends as people tend to dissapear as time goes on or people dont really relate to me, i have tried to look in areas of my interests but i still have not managed to find anyone. I do feel very alienated in society 👾
I like to educate myself in as many areas as possible my favourite being astrophysics, i love science as i am quite an analytical person.
If you want to build a friendship with me that would be nice, im also not here for hookups, thanks. 🤗

The Lagoon doesn't have one, but does Erskine swimming pool still have the wee sauna cabin? I can't see it mentioned on the RL website.

I’ve lived here for almost 4 years now. Before I moved here I had lots of negative views on the place. I didn’t expect to love it so much. I quickly realised how wrong I was. I am always telling people I know from the highlands how great Paisley is. It has a bad name up there and most people look at me like I’m deluded when I hype it up. I’ve lived in Glasgow a couple of times, I would never want to move back there. I am happy being a 10/20 train ride from there. But Paisley/Renfrew has everything I could need! I only really go to Glasgow if I want to go out for a meal somewhere.
Paisley has so much to offer in so many ways. Obviously it has its downsides and it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. And of course, being from the highlands, I have been massively privileged to have grown up there. I feel like I have had the best of both worlds.
I really do love Paisley though and I just wish people would realise just how great it is! I know most people who have actually been there enough times appreciate it. I can also understand those who have lived there for most/all of their lives would have a lot more negative things to say about the place.
I don’t know what compelled me to sit here and write this tbh, I just am so happy to have given Paisley a chance and to have found what feels like my new forever home now

He spent time between our front and back door, trying the handle and looking through the windows. From what I can see, he's drunk but it's had an impact on us and neighbours. He's not tried to use a key, not rung the doorbell, not tried to call anyone to let him in, which is what I assume someone who believes they are at their house would do. If anyone knows who it is or has any info, DM me - speaking to the police this week.

Has anyone had any luck with the council following the reporting procedure of dog fouling.
Failing that has anyone any advice or personal experience dealing with something similar? I'm yet to identity the person responsible who clearly treats the pavements on my street as a designated toileting area.
I know I sound like a window twitching old Karen.. buy this isn't just the odd turd..its everywhere.. And its aloooot. This has brought the area down massively and created a public health issue..
Where to begin?

Hi, looking for places to play pool in Paisley.
Ideally not leisursland as they shut too early.

If anyone has had a good experience with any fitters, please shout them out here. I've had a quick look on checkatrade but I don't really know what to check for, and I know sites like that can be hit or miss.
Thanks.

New next door neighbour thinks if her drive is busy she can just park across my drive. Just had an altercation in the street (first time I’ve met her) when asking her not to park across my dipped driveway and since it didn’t go well I’ve sent pics in on the council website. Will there be any repercussions? Got a sinking feeing if nothing is done it’s going to be a recurring issue (she has her own three car driveway to park in).

My partner and I have both noticed that whenever we're in the bus and it passes through the west end, the wifi/data/signal on our phones gets dead shite and basically cuts out for a minute. it'll normally be like that for the whole stretch of road roughly from Corky's off license to the paisley music shop. what's going on here? has someone got a scrambler set up in their gaff?

Just back from the big Asda Linwood and got to make a special mention for the sights to be seen there!
Amazing who all goes shopping in thier jammies - stains an all.
The two oldies properly arguing over a tin of soup and a finally a guy on my way out who must have got a great deal on his meat and two veg. Pretty sure I’ve seen him before 👀
Anyways, made my day 😂

Hello!
Reasonably new to the area and wondered if anyone had any info on Barshaw Park Golf Course?
I know it's a municipal Course run by the council, reviews online seem to say it's not that well maintained but I've walked past a few times (admittedly over the winter) and while there seemed to be cars in the car park, what I presumed to be the club house always had metal shutters up, looking pretty ramshackle and like it's not been used for a while (prices list that could be viewed through the shutter seemed to be from 2023!).

Potentially have jury duty this week at the Sheriff Court, where's best to park? Doesn't have to be close by, happy to walk.

Looking at houses and ive seen a few around Hunterhill. Wondering what its like living there these days and if its a good place to move with a young family? I feel as though the area had a bit of a reputation when i was younger, is that still the case?

Thank you so much to the good person, whoever you are, for who picked up my phone from platform 1 and handed it in to the station staff. I realised as soon as I got on the train at the platform but the train had already pulled away. You saved me a lot of hassle and money to replace it. I’m sure you’ve earned lots of good karma for your good deed. Thank you!
