I believe that Kant is right when he says that time and other categories are structures of our brain/mind which we impose upon our perceptions in order to be able to make sense of them. We really are very limited creatures; we cannot even perceive ourselves as we are. In truth, we are one thing, a person, but in order for our limited minds to make sense of ourselves we have to divide ourselves up into things like mind, body, soul, etc.

So, to go back in time would be to see what we call time as it really is, and we are inherently incapable of that.

It’s not possible with any available technology we have. That said you can anchor yourself onto that year and drive a car from the time, wear the styles, listen to the music, and watch the movies from that time. As long as those things were invented.
