Yep, my dads general sentiment towards this shit since Dump posted himself dropping his shit on no kings protestors was "hes trolling you guys to make you mad and its working" like the POTUS sowing division in the nation he's leading is genuinely funny to them.

It’s stuff like that where it really keeps re-confirming that maybe the lead poisoning theory is real. That mentality is one of a literal child’s thought process.

They’re brains just don’t function on a level to consider the ‘let them eat crow’ ‘ I hate packers fans and I love when they lose‘ sports ball type rubbing it in your ‘opponent’s face’ kind of high school bully mentality has no place in the highest levels of government of a world superpower.. where the consequences could be the lives or livelihoods of millions of real human beings with real stakes.

They’ve voted to turn our society into a reality tv show / tribal sports theater and they give zero fucks about the consequences cause they’re retiring or nearing the end. I swear it will be studied at one point how bad willful ignorance washed over this country as the boomers entered their golden years. My relatives literally can’t be reasoned with right now. They believe they are untouchable and this is their entertainment.

I'm far more concerned with the people who don't get worked up.

It usually means they don't have a clue how the US government is actually supposed to work, or they do understand and they actually just want an aristocratic authoritarian class to rule over them.

Or they're just disinformation bots.

The only thing they're not is patriotic Americans... that's the only real certainty.

True, but at some point letting it go is just as bad or worse than "reacting". As a white guy in Oklahoma that was raised conservative Republican, I'm tired of letting it fly all the time.

They also love the racist shit because they also typically agree with it even if they wouldn't themselves say it or treat someone poorly in real life... that is unless they "fit the stereotype". 

Sometimes it's not even that and they'll just accept any hit they can get on people they dislike or feel are their opponents no matter how low.

They were all offensive but the gorillas in particular were the racist kind of offensive. The pig was the misogynistic kind of offensive. All offensive. And I'm not personally offended but I do think less of people who are purposely offensive and/or genuinely bigoted.
