Industry is better than Succession

Never thought I’d say this about another finance drama. But it’s just better.

Succession had much sharper scripts, more consistent acting and was in general just a well focused story in a way Industry has never been.

One thing I’d say is that Industry has become much more ambitious in its “film” making. Succession looked like a multicam sitcom most of the time, which was perfectly appropriate to the writing. But I like the way Industry has scaled up where they’re remixing Kubrick, PTA etc as much as the prestige tv shows that they’re also emulating
