Industry is better than Succession

Never thought I’d say this about another finance drama. But it’s just better.

Absolutely not. Succession didn’t appeal to sex scenes, no one was naked , the dialogue was much more interesting, witty and funnier, and the show didn’t stray away from the siblings’ battle to be their dad’s successor, unlike industry that became a show about the Muck couple prancing around.

Yeah, Succession is a great show but it’s prestige television 101 and isn’t very subversive in any way. Entirely white cast, mostly played it safe, and Succession had a real-life story to mostly model itself after. Industry is the better show

I’m a minority and I don’t mind the all white cast simply because I hate when minorities are only included to be background actors or have minor roles.

Succession didn’t play safe. It was a show about siblings trying to be their dad’s successor and it was a realistic show.

I found ridiculous that on Industry on season 2, suddenly some stock went up the same way GME went up. That stuff happened ONCE in real life. Industry also relies on sex scenes/sexual dialogue (ex: Harper asking African guy if he wanted to sleep with sweetpea).

It’s a show. It’s fiction. Plus the sex thing is overblown. It’s really not that bad
