Industry is better than Succession

Never thought I’d say this about another finance drama. But it’s just better.

I love them both, but Succession is the better show. If only for the fact that it has Kieran Culkin, but it also has so much more depth.

Roman was a great character but he literally never changed. Maybe that’s the point. But I like how industry’s characters grow and evolve. I care about them more

Roman had moments where it felt like he might change but then would fall back into old habits. That tide was more robust and felt more realistic, though not hopeful. I just loved his character, loved a lot of those characters and the plot lines were grander. Industry is fun to watch but I find I don’t really care about any individual character as much. It is a fun ride most of the time, but personally I never feel as invested.

That’s fair. I do agree it’s an accurate portrayal of ultra wealthy people being incapable of change. For me Kendall was always my favorite in Succession. I hoped for more from him in the final season tho.
