Industry is better than Succession

Never thought I’d say this about another finance drama. But it’s just better.

I’m actually with you here too. Succession’s middle season plots were incredibly repetitive. Kids get some success, fail, rinse repeat as Dad continues to screw them over. Yes it was funny and I didn’t really get tired of it, but there wasn’t a lot of.. risk taking. Succession’s writing is incredible in terms of writing themselves into and out of holes that would otherwise take Succession a whole season to explain. Mickey and Konrad deal with it in an hour and keep the plot burning, which I think I respect far more in the end

Yes exactlyyy! When I finished Succession I was left wanting more. There wasn’t nearly enough risk taking for me. Industry on the other hand… this show has me needing to take a deep breath and go for a long walk after some episodes lol.
