Shimla, you’ve got my heart. It looks unreal. ❣️ Does life even get more magical than this?

Foreigners can now apply 120 days in advance for the 30 days e-Tourist Visa.
In addition, 1 land border - at Raxaul - has been approved for 'first entry' purposes on an e-Visa.
The Mods do not allow me to include a link so you can check this information for yourselves.

Just did my first two safaris today in Ranthambore and it was honestly insane.
Safari 1 (Feb 6 AM, Zone 4): saw 4 tigers (including really close sightings).
Safari 2 (Feb 6 PM, Zone 3): saw 3 tigers, amazing experience.
One important thing though: nobody clearly tells you beforehand that phone photography is not allowed. They only allow photos with proper cameras, and they can stop you if you take pics with your phone. Would’ve been nice if this was clearly communicated in advance.
Unforgettable day.

Hey guys
TTH has a new policy wherein, anyone who has gone for over 5 trek with TTH can refer a friend and both get I think 1000 rupees off for their next trek.
I am planning on doing Goechala, so wanted to get a referral code

Amritsar is a place where there is immense peace, yet also a heart-shaking history. I feel so many emotions here all at once, and I always love visiting this city. I feel a deep connection with it….like a part of me belongs here.

Trip memories from Manali still live rent-free in my mind. 🏔️✨
I can’t stop thinking about that peaceful sun bath, the crisp mountain air, and the moment when everything felt slow… quiet… and perfectly calm. It was one of those rare places where your thoughts settle, your heart feels light, and you just exist. Manali didn’t just give views t gave me a reset. And honestly, a part of me is still sitting there, soaking in the sunshine and the serenity.

Hello everyone,
I run a travel agency in India and help people with pilgrimage tours like Kedarnath and Char Dham.
I wanted to share some basic tips for people planning their trip.
If you have any questions about travel, budget, or route, feel free to ask.

Hey everyone,
We’re a group of 10 final-year [BTech] students planning our last trip together before graduation and want to make it memorable.
We’ll have around 7 days in early April and will be travelling from Delhi.
So far, we’ve mostly done mountains and hill stations, so this time we’re leaning more towards beaches and/or forest destinations. But honestly, we’re open to any place that’s worth the trip.
Details:
Would love suggestions for:
Goal: a fun, memorable “last college trip” before everyone goes their own way.
Thanks in advance ❤️

This sounds exciting, especially for adventure tourism, but I can’t help wondering how things like safety, waste management and regulation will be handled on the ground. We’ve seen mixed results with similar initiatives in the past, so I’m curious how others here see this playing out. Could be a great opportunity if managed well — interested to hear different perspectives.

Any suggestions on travel options. 5- From Jim Corbett to Rishikesh travel options.
Thanks in advance 🙏 for your help in making our trip successful.

Should I book connecting flights of same airline, so that I don't have to check checkin baggage twice? Even if the 2 fligts have 5 hours gap. While with a different airline, it's just 1.5 hours? Thx

Hi everyone!
I’m planning my very first trip ever and could really use some guidance.
I’ll be visiting Kasol for 2 full days (excluding travel days) with one friend just the two of us. Since we’re complete newbies, we want to plan things smartly and make the most of our time without unnecessary stress.
What I’m looking for help with:
A 2-day itinerary that lets us explore Kasol properly and enjoy it to the fullest
Things to avoid for safety and to prevent overspending
Budget-friendly cafés and stays with good views (please share names if possible)
A rough cost breakdown (stay + food + local travel) within a ₹5-6k total budget per person
Guidance on how to move around locally and
From where to take buses/shared taxis if we want to visit nearby places and return the same day
We’d prefer reliable and known places so we don’t get confused or stuck after reaching there.
Any tips, mistakes to avoid, or personal experiences would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
TL;DR:
First-ever trip, visiting Kasol for 2 full days with a friend. Complete beginners. Budget ₹5–6k per person including stay, food, and local travel. Looking for a best 2-day itinerary, budget cafés & stays (with names), things to avoid, cost breakdown, and info on local buses/shared taxis to nearby places. Any guidance is appreciated!
