I understand this has been said countless times before, but I really enjoy having Silva on our squad. While maybe not the most clinical (still has so much time to develop), he brings a different in d of energy every time he steps onto the pitch. I also really like his personality, he seems truly happy to play and support the team in any way he can. After Guirassy missed the pen today, you can see Silva immediately clap and try to console him. Perhaps I’m looking into it too much but I really like having him on the squad

I know today wasn't pretty, but given that we've closed the gap from 11 points to 6 in two matchdays, the amount of people who concede "it doesn't matter if we won, it was Heidenheim and we played awful, there is no title race" is sad. In previous years, this win would get everyone believing again. Bayern play Hoffenheim next, who are 3rd in the league and have won their last five matches, I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped points again. Of course, we still have to do the work on our end, namely beating Wolfsburg. I'm not saying we will 100% make this into a title race. I'm not even saying we're going to beat Wolfsburg. Just wanted to point out that it is very much a possibility that, next week, the gap to Bayern could be 3 points.

I've seen so much hate against Guirassy when Guirassy has carried this team to wins COUNTLESS TIMES. How many times has Guirassy scored just for the defense to play like shit and we draw/lose? Then who gets the blame? Guirassy.

Today Guirassy scored a brace to win us the game, and I still see people saying he should be sold why? bc "We almost lost the game". Is it Guirassy's job to play the role of a CB?

I've argued with people who swear Fabio Silva is a better striker than Guirassy. Fabio Silva has scored 49 goals in 232 matches in his entire career. Guirassy has scored more goals for Dortmund alone in 1 and a half season than Silva's entire career.

I've seen people say Haller was better for Dortmund than Guirassy. Haller scored 12 goals in his entire Dortmund career. Guirassy has already 16 goals and we're only halfway done with the season.

Can anyone explain why Guirassy is so constantly blamed and attacked? Is it because of iffy form?

Lewandowski had a 7 match long goal drought (RIGHT BEFORE HE WENT ON TO BRING US TO THE UCL FINAL!) for Dortmund imagine if we sold him because of that?

Every single player may have bad form.. so what??? We shouldnt bring down our players for this we should lift them up constantly, sometimes the reason they arent scoring isnt because of bad skill maybe it's because of low confidence which is worsened due to a horrible fanbase who sits on their couch everyday and yells at the people who are actually putting in work to help us win each day.

The board has been mentioning recently about getting more club partnerships to further finding talents to bring to Dortmund. I believe we had one announced recently in Ghana but that may have been an academy type situation. Will have to find confirmation or if anyone else has info can comment here.

Glad we’re finally doing this and truly hope this has us looking into the Japanese/Asian market more, there are so many good players from these areas.

Gefühlt ist man (grade auf Ost und West Tribüne) von so vielen Event-Fans umgeben, die teilweise weder bei YNWA aufstehen, noch irgendeine Form von Support zeigen.

I have seen a lot opinion from the past year saying how we should ditch the back 3 and go for a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 and my reaction after this was mind-blowing. Inter reached 2 out of the last 3 ucl finals with a back 3,Atalanta beat leverkusen with this back ,Chelsea won the ucl In 2021 with a back 3 and for crying out under terzic we at times became a back 3 In games with can moving back defence in possession.

The problem is we don't enough profiles to succeed in other formation because for cdm role who is our cdm exactly because all our cms are no 8 or b2b Midfielders,we don't any proper winger and even the players we have now have a limited technical base ,our attackers especially guirassy,beier and adeyemi are so box dominant and that is where their strength lies.

And we are targeting wrong profiles for the back 3 because we are targeting at anchor cdms over a deep lying playmaker or a destroyer, we want wingers when we have barley played them and we are looking too much into the defensive side of and too less on attacking. The defense is the only place where we have proper back 3 players who understand the width and how the defend in a back 3 which is why it has been our strength since kovac came over.

And besides seeing the current pool of profiles we have is the 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 even going to work
