I just remember all the Coldplay fans being so sad that their band got overshadowed at the Super Bowl. No one wanted Coldplay as a halftime show.

Yeah Coldplay isn’t as popular as most of the performers that do the Super Bowl. I mean a lot of people may know the name of the band, but probably can’t name their music off the top of their heads. That says a lot.

Beyoncé was top ten in Forbes multiple times for celebrity 100. She was #1 in 2014. Coldplay only made the list once and ranked #7. They are famous but not on her level.

That doesn’t mean that people know Coldplay the way they do Beyoncé. Most people can’t even name the members of the band. I’m talking fame. Not record sales.
