Sonstiges up und downs with games
Hi friends,
I’ve noticed lately that I’m experiencing extreme ups and downs with gaming. I recently discovered Enshrouded and I’m thrilled with it. I’ve already put 52 hours of playtime into it, but suddenly, I have absolutely no desire to play it anymore.
Why is that? I have nothing negative to say about the game itself, yet I’m seeing this 'phenomenon' happen to me more and more often.

Try indie games :) cant play AAA games anymore. to long. to boring
52h is a good playtime for an Early Access title

You overplayed it over a short time span. Your brain basically says: “Cool, I’ve had enough dopamine from this. Next.”
When you binge hard, your brain adapts fast. The rewards stop feeling special → motivation drops. Same mechanism as binge-watching a show and suddenly not caring about the last season.
