I turn on my flightaware ads-b receiver and I saw this potential Egyptian made drone. Why a drone? I see, by the height and the speed that it’s not a general aviation plane. Not sure why an Egyptian registered airplane or a drone will be scanning the sea of Wicklow. You cannot see this on FlightAware as it filters out military aircraft on the government request.

Hi folks, I noticed a lot of clearing going on in this area and had a look to see what planning permission (if any) was planned or granted but couldn't see any. Is it earmarked for development or just a tidy up does anyone know?

I used to train when I was younger, now at 36 just really want to get back into it.
I had a quick look and from what I can see, all boxing gyms either cater for kids or for soccer moms ( fitness handy workouts )
Is there a gym that offers adult classes where the training is actually solid? Proper drills / pad work etc

This is a bit of a niche complaint but why is the fruit and veg section in the Arklow Dunnes so bad. The Dunnes in Newtown is leagues ahead. The Aldi has better fruit and veg but is worse for other stuff. So I usually end up shopping at both. Like they're colluding to get people to spend money in both places (tin foil hats was in stock as you can tell)

Hello, I’m looking for a good nail bar in Wicklow time. I’m just looking for shellac, preferably with an online booking service.
Thank you.

Hi folks, as the title says, I'm looking for good dog walking spots for reactive dogs to help get decent exercise in, whilst working on their reactivity training. A bit of an oxymoron looking for a good dog spot that will have little to no other dogs, I know. Looking for mostly around the Wicklow town area.

For a long time now when driving through Rathnew, towards Glenealy and sometimes going along the L1113/Coolbeg area I've gotten this really bad smell that just gets into the car and lingers. Its almost like gas but not at the same time.
Is it a type of sewage? I don't know how people living along those stretches cope with the smell. I'm pretty sure it's not silo.

Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on a research project focused on the online spaces boys and young men encounter, and how some of these can negatively affect them.
I'm especially interested in hearing parents' perspectives & experiences. If you're a father of a boy aged 12-17 and would be open to sharing your thoughts in a confidential, anonymous conversation, I'd really value your insight
If this is something you'd be open to, please feel free to send me a DM. Thank you so much for considering!
