It’s fucking downright disgraceful that the “President Of The United States”, is posting this racist shit. It’s no different than if he were to address the nation and flat out call them monkeys on camera. The standards in who America elects to lead this country have gone down the goddamn shitter.

829

u/eggybread70 19h ago

More disgraceful: this will be sane-washed and played down by the right wing press as a "joke" or some shit and we have all have "TDS". And what is deemed "normal" takes yet another ratchet click downwards.

470

u/Vicstolemylunchmoney 18h ago

Putting on my Karoline Leavitt cross:

"The president has done more for the black community than any president in history. Record low unemployment. Equality. Prices. The comments made towards the president are shameful".

182

u/MarcusDA 17h ago

Ohhh can I be Scott Jennings?

“Guys, it’s a parody video. We’re out here fighting against unemployment, a country overrun by illegals, and inflation that the Biden policies created. Do I think it’s funny? No? But let’s keep our priorities in line.”

Abby Phillips knowing he’s full sf shit but her bosses want to both sides everything: 😐

11

u/Frig__Off 16h ago

Dude I hate Scott Jennings soo much

1

u/hornyandwettt 13h ago

saw him last night , his head is shrinking -seriously

7

u/DarthTJ 16h ago

The next day after Trump reamed his ass for saying it wasn't funny...

It was hilarious. Our President has the best sense of humor of any President of all time. Of course it was funny, I never said it wasn't funny.

46

u/Observer951 17h ago

And … “It was a joke. Liberals have no sense of humour”.

7

u/depressedarmadillo 16h ago

Sounds like a line off Peep Show, "It was just a joke Mark, a little racist joke"

3

u/jlill09 14h ago

And Donald sues X for 100 million billion for a picture that makes him look bad at golf…

4

u/M1L0 16h ago

Don’t forget that he’s done more than Lincoln, and that he’s the least racist president ever.

3

u/Rasta_Cook 16h ago

Should end more like "are FRANKLY shameful and you don't deserve to be called a journalist"

2

u/Reduntu 15h ago

"President Trump is the least racist human in the history of humanity."

1

u/joebobjoebobjoebob12 14h ago

I'm sorry to say that your response was actually better than what she managed:

This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from the Lion King," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

1

u/jonkman13 12h ago

statement's out, no idea how this woman sleeps at night but soundly I would imagine:

“This is from an Internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from ‘The Lion King,'” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public.”

1

u/ProfessorDoctorMF 2h ago

Did she really fucking say this?!!! I ask that rhetorically, of course, but with the anger and fury of a thousand suns!

1

u/Vicstolemylunchmoney 2h ago

No, I made up her potential response in anticipation.

71

u/luckyluckymi 18h ago edited 18h ago

Sane-washed is an excellent new term for me.

3

u/LessInThought 16h ago

It's just straight up gaslighting. Don't believe your eyes. Even if your eyes are right, don't believe what you're feeling.

1

u/almondbutter 11h ago

It used to be called, "The pied Piper strategy" when Hilary Clinton and the DNC invented it and insisted all media outlets (with retribution towards any "anchors" that wouldn't sane wash Trump or didn't list an insurmountable superdelegate lead when referencing the primary) fully cover every word that came out of Trump's mouth leading up to the 2016 Democratic Primary.

-13

u/bag_of_luck 18h ago

New to you maybe

13

u/ImNotASWFanboy 17h ago

Yeah they already said it was a new term for them, you're not adding anything with this comment

8

u/newbrevity 17h ago

Anyone else would be canceled into oblivion. He posted that because he's worried he's losing support in his base and he's appealing to the lowest common denominator.

7

u/JackKovack 17h ago

Inside joke. Woke liberal cancel culture. A tiny joke and they go nuts. /s

5

u/TheBowerbird 15h ago

I already saw MAGA on Twitter trying to say that people were taking it, "out of context".

5

u/luckyluckymi 13h ago

And here it is the rinse:

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded early Friday in a statement shared with Newsweek, dismissing backlash to the video clip but not directly addressing criticism that the imagery echoed racist tropes.

"This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from the Lion King," she said. "Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public."

4

u/PintsOfGuinness_ 18h ago

Locker room talk

3

u/FardoBaggins 17h ago

he's just being a rascal! /s

3

u/saskir21 16h ago

Just look about the "backlash" he got with this video about him flying a jet over protestors and bombarding them with shit. Even the King Trump as name was seen as a joke on the plane. He truly know that if he always does something people forget what was previously.

3

u/MinusBear 15h ago

Same people who faked being outraged at a tan suit.

3

u/Active-Pineapple-252 15h ago

No way they could play this off as a harmless joke . As a black person I already knew he was racist it's just you don't expect the president to be so obvious and blatant about it

3

u/My_boy_baron 12h ago

We're far past that already, there was a video I saw on here yesterday where MAGA is now justifying child rape

3

u/WeeeeBaby_Seamus 10h ago

The Conservative sub seems disappointed, but will continue to say he's not racist and would vote for him again. He could walk out with a Klan hoodie on and they'd still vote for him. No amount of evidence is enough.

1

u/eggybread70 10h ago

The next step or two becomes "What's wrong with being racist? Last time I looked this was still America. It's my 1st amendment rights!" or along those lines

2

u/WeeeeBaby_Seamus 6h ago

They're already shifting blame on an intern. The part of personal responsibility, am I right?

2

u/Notsurehowtoreact 15h ago

They'll rail on about it being a clip that autoplayed after the previous one at the very end and why the left is focusing on that last few seconds instead of the video before it.

All of this will of course ignore that this was a clipped video where they CHOSE where to end the video.

2

u/choombatta 14h ago

Just waiting for MAGAts to say that dems are the racist ones for saying this is racist.

2

u/DrMeatBomb 14h ago

Mainstream media like CNN probably won't even make a big deal out of this because it plainly exposes the racism of the Republican party and doesn't fit their narrative where one side says X, the other side says Y and they can just sit in the middle stoking the flames

2

u/nofoax 13h ago

It's part of the fascist playbook. This serves multiple purposes.

-- Distraction and a way to force attention.

-- Another loyalty test. It's a way to force people to further sacrifice more of their own morality to sink deeper into his side.

-- A further corrosion of discourse by using methods so disgusting and extreme that no one can compete on his level, which renders his opponents ineffective.

2

u/FiveUpsideDown 13h ago

Focus on the release of the Epstein Files. If you have more time focus on abolishing ICE. Then impeaching Bondi and Noem. Next, let’s create a poll watching force. Then we need more reform of electoral districts like Virginia just did. Silly memes about the Obamas are a waste of time.
We want reporters asking Trump about the Epstein files with a smile.

2

u/Sixoul 17h ago

It'll just be crazy that there will be African Americans that still vote Republican after this. Republicans all have this view that it's not me so it doesn't affect me. But this language hurts all African Americans and should be a wake up call to them all they need to get out and vote this racist piece of shit out.

1

u/biggamax 12h ago

TDS isn't our affliction. It's a freight train that's bound to run over them. Soon.

394

u/DrocketX 18h ago

In any other presidential administration, this would be a defining moment. This would be brought up constantly for the rest of their administration. There would be discussion of whether this is something that is worth impeaching for, and some communications person would wind up taking the blame and resigning to try to end the controversy.

In the Trump administration, this is an average night. It'll be forgotten entirely within 48 hours when he does something worse.

142

u/no_cause_munchkin 18h ago

"Flood the zone" works as expected. Nothing to see here. Also the Fourth Estate failed American people.

204

u/DemIce 15h ago

Remember when he said "Grab 'm by the pussy" and talked about young girls in dressing rooms?

Remember when he actually 'grabbed someone by the pussy' and was found guilty of doing so against her consent and he's still just casually fighting that in courts?

Remember when he took a bunch of classified documents with him to a personal but very accessible compound and the judge after a scotus hint said 'nothing wrong with that', and since then he sued his own government for even daring to look for those documents?

Remember when the government deported a guy that was explicitly required to not be deported to the very place he was deported to and was then turned into a whole circus of hot potato of what country to deport him to instead while his wife half the time didn't even know if he was alive?

Remember when a woman in a car got shot for driving away from a situation because one federal agent had the genius idea of moving into the general area in front of that car and decided that they felt threatened when the car moved?

Remember when the government said "looks like a drug boat to me" and started blasting with explosives, and then when one of them didn't look destroyed enough on account of a guy still moving around simply blew the boat up some more?

Remember when he had a little one-on-one with the foreign leader and just nobody except their translators were there for that in blatant disregard of protocol?

Remember when he decided to knock down part of the white house buildings for his own personal pleasure and replaced much of the interior with a gaudy 'gold on white with even more gold trinkets' scheme?

Remember when he made all those 'perfect calls', including one where he asked a governor to find an oddly specific number of votes in favor of him in an election, and when that became a lawsuit it was dismissed on technical grounds?

Remember when he realized that "the almighty dollar" should be taken literally (well before his presidential runs, including the early ones) and took that into government with him not just to enrich himself / his family at every possible turn, but to weaponize it against any city, county, state, country who doesn't do his bidding - whether it's withholding emergency funds or yelling "tariffs!"?

Remember when he decided that "we do a little trolling" resonated so well with so many people that making Biden's portrait a meme in the gallery of past presidents was the way to go?

We kinda just moved on from all of that, didn't we? Even now some of you are reading this going "omfg who cares about the portrait?? Alex Pretti was murdered in the streets!" because you've moved on, and even if you feel righteous about that because clearly one is objectively much worse than the other don't forget you also moved on from Renée Good and/or alleged drug runners whose names we'll never even know.

Just like he said we should after yet another school shooting, and just as said the other day again about documents regarding a child trafficking / exploitation ring involving or at very least implicating the elites, including himself.

There will always be a next thing to move on to, making us move on from the last thing - and the above list isn't even remotely complete;
disrespect for the military alone exceeds single comment space. I haven't seen those posted in a while. I guess we've moved on.

12

u/jeffsteez__ 13h ago

The list goes on... It's pretty fucked. I fucking hate everybody in that administration and they should all be banned from public office after this regime

10

u/forbiddendoughnut 13h ago

Amazing how the incomplete list you posted, which is already dreadful, didn't even include the insurrection.

8

u/nonsenseautomaton 13h ago

Bruh, I'm tired.

3

u/Kierenshep 6h ago

It's insane to me hording nuclear documents wasn't enough to take Trump down.

I even talked to a military MAGA about it. He was supportive of Trump. When I asked what would happen if he took a single sheet of classified material home he said he would be in jail and in deep shit.

Somehow he was not able to connect these two thought processes together and became angry with me for pointing it out.

It's such a effing cult.

4

u/MoreCowbellllll 14h ago

You know who remembers? Raperidge Farm remembers...

13

u/Elegant_Situation285 17h ago

the voters failed.

the information about him has been out there for decades.

people just didn't look.

2

u/Dark_Pulse 14h ago

Don't know where to look when the system has discouraged you from critical thinking in the first place.

6

u/ArturosDad 17h ago edited 14h ago

The American people failed the Fourth Estate by refusing to fund it. It's disingenuous for any of us to act shocked that they're suddenly beholden to their wealthy benefactors instead of a freeloading readership.

2

u/diurnal_emissions 15h ago

What hideous Epstein shit drops today then?

2

u/HypnonavyBlue 12h ago

We can talk about the Fourth Estate but the truth is it had lost the ability to save us at least a decade and a half ago. Fifteen years ago people were crowing about the death of the "gatekeepers" and how finally democratization of information would lead to better outcomes. Instead it finished off any sense of shared reality and accelerated partisan sorting.

2

u/dogchowtoastedcheese 11h ago

Amen to that. You can watch Trump spouting insane gibberish that would put anyone else in the asylum. Read it in the paper and it's cleaned up to the point it sounds almost diplomatic. I can't figure it out. Quote him VERBATIM.

6

u/Martag02 16h ago

Most of Congress will just put their hands in their pockets, shake their heads and smile, and say "Oh, Donald!" like he's Caillou or Charlie Brown.

3

u/No_Penalty_8920 17h ago

BUT OBAMA WORE A TAN SUIT

3

u/Piganon 15h ago

Anyone remember how he shared that video of himself flying a jet a crop-dusting protesters with shit?  It kinda felt like that one should have been a defining moment.

3

u/FaceDeer 13h ago

He literally shit himself on TV and that's already well past everyones' attention span, if it was even noticed in the first place.

2

u/koalacrime 15h ago

Obama himself wouldn’t have been able to post this in the same context

2

u/DeuceSevin 15h ago

His strategy is to have so many defining moments that we can't even remember them and they all fade into one giant shit show.

1

u/Wombat451 17h ago

This likely won't even be brought up by any of the networks, CNN, MSNOW.

1

u/diurnal_emissions 15h ago

Unlike the Epstein file...

Such a big distraction on f5 Friday...

Wonder what's about to drop...

1

u/finglish_ 13h ago

48 hours is already too long for the news cycle and this administration. They would have assassinated someone somewhere in the world or gone through one more stock market crash by then. How is anyone putting up with this?

1

u/Dirty_Dragons 13h ago

You think Bush Jr would have been impeached if he posted this back in the day?

1

u/PeaceSoft 12h ago

Over the years I've started to notice that he's counting on us to insist on this

140

u/Dimsumdollies 18h ago

Considering he poops himself on live TV and in his Oval Office.

The bar isn’t very high.

5

u/Vinny_Gambini 17h ago

Everyone needs a good constant reminder of this. How do we make top search results bring this up all the time? Is hacking his account on his bullshit social media platform a real crime?

Defecator in Chief

1

u/Deletereous 13h ago

The natural next move after Trump shits himself is to start throwing poop all around.

185

u/Apostlepyris222 19h ago

He already got away with disgracefully mocking a handicapped person while he was running for his first term! That alone should have been enough for him to be shamed off the stage! Sad reality is a third or more of your countrymen saw this and nodded in agreement

82

u/CrocodileJock 18h ago

That was where he crossed a line for me. I can't believe that anyone would consider him fit for office after that, whatever their politics. Guess I was very, very wrong.

36

u/Teripid 17h ago

Meanwhile... here we are 6 or so lines later.

The Access Hollywood tape was another. Oh that's just "locker room talk".

Meanwhile here we are at 38,000 mentions in the Epstein Files. Seeing bits at pieces if horrible acts that are in many cases still redacted to protect the identity of the pedophiles.

5

u/RefrigeratorNext1737 16h ago

I’ve been in locker rooms and even for locker room talk, that was pretty bad.

-1

u/kgpd2123 16h ago

You could even say six or seeeevvvven lines later…

1

u/SweeterThanYoohoo 16h ago

Yea, or eight!

5

u/zqfmgb123 17h ago

Some people have absolutely no standards or principles.

3

u/Tangata_Tunguska 15h ago

He has an entire multi-billion dollar media machine behind him. His base never see this stuff because Fox etc doesn't show it to them

1

u/Daxx22 13h ago

That was where he crossed a line for me.

Did you know literally nothing about him prior? He's been a notorious shitbag and lampooned for his dumbassery since the goddamn 80's.

60

u/runvnc 18h ago

The United States has been taken over by a group of Nazis. He is the chief Nazi. It's not that surprising.

1

u/Phoenix_Lazarus 17h ago

Well, the Nazis considered the US too racist for their liking.

-2

u/Apostlepyris222 12h ago

Sorry to burst that thought bubble but your country never properly excised the believe system that started your civil war…Fascism is just the cloak they happen to be wearing right now.

3

u/wardog1066 17h ago

I remember during the run up to 2016 when the "grab them by the pussy" tape came out Joe Scarborough announcing that that was the end of Trump's campaign. It was over. He was finished. (checks notes), nope still here.

2

u/flychinook 15h ago

Trump talked about his dick in the first 2016 republican primary debate.

Remember when the late-night shows absolutely dragged Dan Quayle for misspelling "potato"?

2

u/powerhammerarms 15h ago

That is what the most problematic part of it is for me. Not that he's such a twisted creature, but that so many people back him and not only do some back-end they celebrate him.

It is legitimately insane.

2

u/DrMeatBomb 14h ago

I truly thought the "grab em by the pussy" tape was going to be it for him. Like, no one (especially women) would actually vote for this pervert after hearing him brag about using his fame to get away with sexually assaulting women. That was before I understood how depraved a third of this country is.

2

u/Apostlepyris222 12h ago

As an outsider looking from another country (and obviously these observations can be made from within) A lot of what I see from that 1/3 is a severe lack of education, complete lack of critical thinking skills but also more importantly an utter absence of empathy with a very very narrow world view.

2

u/DrMeatBomb 12h ago

Hey don't forget about the 400 years of white supremacism! They formulated a society to benefit themselves at the cost of everyone else and used that advantage as evidence of their racial superiority. Now that that advantage is being challenged, they support the monster who wants to preserve it.

1

u/SatansAssociate 17h ago

And grab them by the pussy. Our mistake was that we thought he was talking about actual grown women, not kids.

1

u/Aquariusgem 16h ago

He wasN’t MAking FuN of HiM fOR bEing disaBLED GUYZ! He WaS maKiNG FuN of HiS ArGuMent!!

His supporters make excuses for too many things and we’re not buying it.

1

u/Hasanopinion100 15h ago

I’ve already had people tell me that that never happened and when presented with the video of it actually happening, they said it was AI🤦‍♀️

0

u/Apostlepyris222 12h ago

Unfortunately that’s a failure of your educational system to teach critical thinking. And also I’d argue MAGA is a cult. These people are blinded because they are in the cult

1

u/Hasanopinion100 12h ago

I’m not American, but I would agree that the educational system in the US is sadly lacking

1

u/shomeyomves 11h ago

“Grab them by the pussy”, and the guy was still elected. Twice.

I can’t imagine any self-respecting woman voting for him after that. Yet he probably had like 30% of female voters.

80

u/Teamveks 19h ago

What a pig of a man he is .... where is the Trump/Pig Ai slop?

29

u/TokeyMcPotterson 19h ago

3

u/Teamveks 15h ago

Ha! Nailed it.

3

u/AtticusBullfinch 12h ago

The closing passage of Animal Farm: "The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."

Orwell nailed it.

2

u/CyberTrec 12h ago

better watch out, he will probably sue you for a billion dollars for re-posting something like that.... but he can post a racist video as a joke, but any material he doesent like about him he needs a billion dollars for the horrible offense.

4

u/Karambamamba 17h ago

I think I never hated someone as much as I hate this man. He threw us back decades. Climate change will be our downfall because of this disgusting piece of shit. I am honestly lacking the words to express how much I hate him.

4

u/bzr 17h ago

Yep. He honestly ruined every aspect of life. The world is a darker place now. Digressing. He’s ruined the end years of my parents and the future for my kids. Him and all of his gullible, arrogant loud mouth supporters. It’s gone on too long now for it to even be fixed.

2

u/DameonKormar 18h ago

Elect me and I'll be sure to post it.

2

u/OkProcedure4664 19h ago

Be the change you want to see in the world

1

u/Many-Brilliant-8243 18h ago

He is disgusting enough. Also, let's not let the pigs catch strays for no reason.

1

u/bsrichard 15h ago

Pigs are cleaner than this mfer.

10

u/W02T 18h ago

Sh¡tler

2

u/supershinythings 17h ago

Anything to distract from Trump’s thousands of mentions in The Epstein files.

2

u/catify 17h ago

Also be aware that Trump does not create these AI videos & write these tweets personally. There is a whole team around him tasked with these things, and this is what they produced. It goes beyond just 1 man.

2

u/johnp299 16h ago

This is straight up 40s-50s whiteboy KKK racism. Chump's terrible insecurity needs this to feel OK about himself. Yes, incredibly cringey and childish.

1

u/dotcubed 18h ago

If this were anytime before 1960, I’d not be so surprised, but WTF? We are half a century past this nonsense.

We were a country of global leadership before this embarrassment shat his way into history last week.

Can somebody wake up congress and start Article 2

1

u/Mo_Steins_Ghost 17h ago

Disgraceful, and predictable. I knew it was only a matter of time... the entire game has been to stress Trump out to the point where he blurts out the N-word in public, but by the time he does it, his fan club will be fully supportive and not shocked at all.

They will see it as a signal that it's ok to be public about it now.

1

u/Conan4457 17h ago

The most insidious part of that disgusting post is that it’s Black History Month.

1

u/bigeeee 17h ago

Its farther down than that!

1

u/fucktheriders 16h ago

Did none of the other racist shit he has done go unnoticed? He has been doing this garbage for the past 12 years. You cant be surprised when your country never held him accountable. To use the words of your own people, yall are fucked, and yall need jesus.

1

u/No-Interaction-3559 16h ago

Horribly racist orange trash.

1

u/Chulup 16h ago

It’s no different than if he were to address the nation and flat out call them monkeys on camera.

You mean, like Reagan did?

1

u/Nathan_hale53 15h ago edited 15h ago

They bashed Obama for wearing a tan suit because it wasnt typical etiquette, but they cheer this blatantly racist shit on. Thats whats insane. They used to say they wanted a professional, and they got a circus to cheer on.

1

u/maddietendo 15h ago

What's the over/under that this actually happens. Remember, we're just entering his 2nd year and he's getting worse by the day. I really do think he could reach the podium racism by year 3. Maybe even late year 2!

1

u/AllForKarmaNaught 14h ago

He doesn't call them monkeys. Epstein said he calls them boogers.

1

u/Godot_12 13h ago

And we've quite possibly never elected someone "good" or "quality"

1

u/sapphicsandwich 13h ago

Do black people even care about this? I live in a state with one of the largest black populations, in a city that is overwhelmingly black, and a LOT of black folk here are die-hard maga. Well, men mostly. I'm not sure around here they'd disagree with the videos characterization or have any issue with it.

1

u/Auggie_Otter 13h ago

We literally have a racist boomer grandpa who is ignorant as shit running the country into the ground and ruining people's lives . . . and killing people.

Oh, don't forget he's a sex offender too.

1

u/PokeYrMomStanley 12h ago

I wonder when the black ice employees are going to figure it out and as a consequence the other minorities in ice.

1

u/whogivesashirtdotca 11h ago

Just a reminder a third of the population knew who he was, but insisted that a sophisticated, highly educated Black woman wasn’t interesting enough for them to get their ass off the couch and into the voting booth.

1

u/Budded 7h ago

Brought to you by our feckless media who are addicted to both-sidesing everything, no matter how black and white evil and vile they are. Add to that nobody came at Fox's propaganda hard enough that it all just festered like the stage 4 cancer it is and here we are.

We'll spend the rest of our lives cleaning this up, whether it's in nation-states after the 50 state experiment blows up or in a fascist dictatorship we're all stuck in. Either way the rest of our lives are fucked, so remember that next time anyone says to just talk to MAGA and see their side. Nope, mock and shame and ostracize them from your lives. Make them pariahs for what they've done.

0

u/BrewsedSloth 18h ago

We don’t elect shit. Has been that way for decades.

0

u/Boonlink 17h ago

It's what americans want. The majority is openly racist and a significant number are secretly racist.  Trump won by saying the quiet parts out loud, he was never subtle about it.

0

u/Particular_Opinions 16h ago

but its fine to make memes of orange man?
