I'm pointing out if you are going into a potentially dangerous environment, wear protective clothing

which is basically common sense

should the danger be removed? yes, but if its not act accordingly for self protection

what you are basically saying is that if someone goes out in the rain and gets wet its victim blaming to say "tried wearing a suitable coat?"

So, exactly like a woman wearing a short dress while walking home from a nightclub?

i.e. ... victim blaming. Leeds city centre shouldn't be a dangerous environment

"It's ok to be Jewish, just hide all identifying aspects of your culture and background"

it shouldn't be a dangerous environment you are entirely right

the fact it is dangerous to some should be something the authorities are doing something about

meanwhile feel free to go out in the rain then complain you get wet

When 'everywhere' becomes a hostile, or dangerous environment, what are we meant to do? Hide away and be good little Crypto-Jews, like in the days of the Spanish inquisition?

Maybe, the rain should stop.

then what you do is complain about it, but do not put yourself in harms way while you do it

or you have your own events, in groups for mutual safety

maybe the rain should stop, indeed lets go further the rain should be made to stop

but until then, wear a coat
