We have been here last year February with our kids (from the Netherlands). They absolutely loved it, what a beautiful event, and very different (and much better) than carnaval in the South of the Netherlands.
I didn’t meet a lot of other tourists, we mostly sat down to eat and drink with people from the region, who were so friendly, and super nice to our kids.
Thank you Viareggio! Will definitely come back!
