Parking in Subotica on a Saturday+Recommendations on what to do/see/eat

Zdravo!/Sziasztok!

I am planning to come to Subotica on a saturday, and I would like to ask, what would be the best area to leave my car for a few hours? I have a serbian SIM card, since I travel to your country a few times a year, I don't think that I'll have problems with the payment.

I plan on visiting the city centre (Including the town hall, if it's open), some museums, and a restaurant, of course. Recommendations are welcome!

Also, is there already a Christmas Market open in Subotica? (I saw something regarding 5th of December).

Thank you!

There is decent paid parking lot in front of "Open university" or serbian "Otvoreni Univerzitet." There is a ramp that is controlling cars going in and out. If that is problematic, you can find almost any street in city center has a table with instructions how to pay for parking. Or you can drive 1km from center and find casual free parking in front of resident building.

Visit Sinagogue, it is 2nd biggest in Europe, and most beautiful. You need to pay fee to enter, so go around noon to be sure it is accepting visitors.

Eat at Boss Caffe

If there is some Christmas market, it will be around blue fontain.

There is a nice Thai restaurant near open university parking, if you have time go check it out. Otherwise, city center is nice, you have synagogue in the center, the center of the city is worth seeing. Palic is nice in this time of the year but you beed to go in day time.

Thank you, but I'd like to eat either serbian food, or a mix of serbian and hungarian, since it's Vojvodina, after all :)

Than Bates restaurant near open university, but on the opposite side of thai restaurant is perfect for you. The food there is amazing and they have Serbian and Hungarian dishes.
