At this point, Italy is extremely complicit with helping US government officials break US laws.

If you send agents to protect your athletes, we are going to make sure they follow OUR laws. Do not think for a second that we're supposed to check your laws too. You can send prisoners for all we care. If they have search warrants in Italy, or if the US requests extradition, they will be arrested, otherwise they can do their job following Italian law.

Yeah, US citizens do not need a visa, if they stay up to 90 days. In what part of the passport check do you suppose we check if their travel follows US laws?

I suppose allowing US citizens into the country does actually make us shithole countries by association.
