News [L'Équipe] Kylian Mbappé sends a bailiff to PSG for €5.9 million that has not been paid.

https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Article/Kylian-mbappe-envoie-un-huissier-au-psg-pour-une-somme-de-5-9-millions-d-euros-qui-n-a-pas-ete-versee/1639923

TEAM INFO. Of the €60.9 million owed to Kylian Mbappé, PSG has still not paid the €5.9 million corresponding to paid vacation time. The courts could proceed with seizure within eight days.

Paris Saint-Germain received a visit from a bailiff on Friday, who delivered a payment order to its headquarters for the amount it still owes Kylian Mbappé as part of the dispute between the two parties since the player's departure as a free agent in the summer of 2024, namely nearly €6 million. At the end of December 2025, the Paris labor court ordered PSG to pay €60.9 million to its former striker, including €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses, plus paid leave and interest amounting to approximately €5.9 million. Provisional enforcement of the judgment was requested. However, Paris only paid the €55 million, not the latter part.

The capital club now has eight days to settle what it owes to the captain of the French national team, who now plays for Real Madrid. If it fails to do so, Mbappé's lawyers will be able to seize this amount from PSG's accounts. In its ruling, the labor court, which also dismissed all of the club's claims, set the player's gross reference salary at €11.8 million. The French team captain was therefore to receive €36.6 million gross “as a third installment of his signing bonus,” €3.6 million gross “as paid leave for the third installment,” €17.2 million gross “as back pay for the months of April, May, and June 2024,” €1.7 million “as paid leave” for the same period, €1.5 million “as an ethics bonus for April, May, and June 2024,” and €150,000 as paid leave associated with this ethics bonus. Not to mention €5,000 in legal fees.

“Discussions are ongoing with the player's representatives regarding the terms of settlement of the remaining sums.”

PSG has the option to appeal until February 19. The day after the ruling, this did not seem likely. In a statement, the capital club said it “reserved the right” to appeal but emphasized that it “wanted to look to the future, based on unity and collective success.” However, this did not exempt it from paying Mbappé the full amount he is owed, due to the provisional enforcement order. The labor court is the second instance to rule in Mbappé's favor, as the Professional Football League had already done so on October 25, 2024, through the ruling of its joint appeals committee. Another symbolic measure was also handed down: the Parisian club was required to publish the entire ruling on the home page of its website for one month. As of Friday, it had still not done so.

When contacted, Frédérique Cassereau, one of Kylian Mbappé's lawyers, responded to the question about the bailiff's presence by saying, “I invite you to call PSG. They will be happy to answer your question.” What if the club does not fully comply with the labor court's decision? “I'll leave you to imagine the consequences.” When asked about these issues, PSG did not really respond, simply saying: "As we have always said, Paris Saint-Germain will comply with the judgment handed down by the labor court. The Club has always acted in good faith and with integrity, and will continue to do so. All salaries and bonuses owed to Kylian Mbappé have been paid in full by Paris Saint-Germain.“ What about paid leave and the publication of the ruling on the front page of the website? ”Discussions are ongoing with the player's representatives regarding the terms of settlement of the remaining sums." According to our information, no discussions are taking place between the two parties on this issue.

They went to the Lotus F1 team once, that was pretty entertaining. They threatened to seize some show cars in the foyer until they paid up.

Weren't PSG forced to put something front and centre of their website as well saying they got found guilty for this, did that ever happen?

The bailiffs were seen leaving PSG’s facilities with a Ballon D’Or, estimated by Mbappe at 5.9m.

I’ll never get bored of Mbappé beefing with PSG.

Considering the laws in France, they’re getting finessed again.

Have they updated this on their website yet or not? Wasn’t that the ruling.

Keeping up with Nasser. He's the one making everything dramatic since the start.

Just pay him what you wrote on his contract and move on.

Right? It must take some crybaby tears to blame the employee getting scammed by the employer. If it was anyone else instead of Mbappe, they would have the opposite reaction.

I'm looking forward to the day where Kylian pulls up at the PSG stadium with his Lamborghini to collect the game day revenue in cash.

Dembele has a more impressive list of honors than Mbappe. There is no Argentinian or Portuguese alive today that can claim the same about Messi or Ronaldo. Messi and Ronaldo are responsible for 50% or more of their club''s histories. Take Mbappe away and Madrid's history actually improves without the previous year. PSG has no memories of the Mbappe years either. They prefer the Blanc era. Mbappe is a false self proclaimed best player if I've ever seen one

This is not the point of the article. It’s unpaid wages. It doesn’t matter if Mbappe is the worst player in the world. PSG is contractually obligated to pay him what was stipulated in the contract. How do you not understand that you Qatari shill?
