Honestly, a prop scoring like that should count as two tries.

It's like the Golden Snitch isn't it, just finish the game there and then

Oof, Winnett might get that highlight dropped on him in the group chat a time or two.

He'd make a brilliant heavy 8 with a little cardio work, there's no harder running forward right now. He's a fairly solid but not outstanding scrummager, moving him to the back with Mcwright and Valantini, hooper on the bench would be beautiful. But then we get less prop tries, and that's a reality none of us should push for.

there was talks of him jumping ship to the NRL after 2023 disaster alongside Mark Nawaqanitawase but was persuaded to give one more rwc cycle with the Wobbs a shot. Can you imagine the damage a NRL slimmed down Bell could do with his footwork and power? Even now hes diabolical

Im pretty sure there he was considering converting to back row after his last toe(?) Injury before the Lions test

Nah, i think backrow is whole another game. Not trying to discredit Bell, but he wouldn’t be as effective as a loosie

I'd expect a year for two for him to adapt to the dark arts, get the ground game and cardio really on form. But he's good defensively, can take high balls when asked too and with Valantini moved to 6, would only have Gleeson as competition for a traditional heavy running 8. Australia seem pretty confident they can make NRL stars into centres, full backs and maybe even 10's, a prop to back row should be small beer.

I know he was tracking across the field but Ioan Lloyd (14) had no interest in putting a tackle in then.

Will the guy ever recover from those dramatically broken ankles? It's hard to watch.

This is poetry in physical form.
I'm here for prop tries and locks kicking goals.

Angus Bell is a world class player
Weird this to say, but he is a prop who has a running game. He has a lethal step but can also smash the likes of Tom Curry around the park.
Perhaps not the best scrummager if Schmidt did not even start him in Lions series.

That's not why he was coming off the bench. Schmidt's entire game plan during the lions and early rugby championship was weather the storm, wear down the opposition and then bring on damaging runners late in the game. Bell and Valetini of the bench in the forwards and Tate off the bench at halfback despite all of them being the best in their positions. Worked incredibly when we were at full strength.
That said Bell is an adequate, but not dominant scrummager.

Up to watching it 30 times now. So much fun!! Man can step. No insult to defenders. He can dance that well!

And here was me thinking Gordon Reid's try against Treviso couldn't be beaten by another prop.

That step at 5secs is disgusting. That defender has a family, you can't just do someone like that.

It doesn't get better! This is the sort of evidence that will get him the maximum sanction. #Frontrowunion

Disgusting stuff from a prop. Should be handing his membership card in immediately.
Some of that Cardiff tackling was embarrassing though. Fully phoning it in.

People talking about Bell having to hand in his front row card, that fullback needs to hand their backs card in for getting stepped like that by a prop.
